maybe a little gromit but no one wanted her booted straight out, they let her run until replaced. They are now trying to force Boris out as an MP too. The nastiness is off the scale this time. To listen to fatti and his marxist bullies you'd never think they just got what they wanted.
//Give it a rest you won, show some dignity.//

Yeah, just like the AB Right did with Brexit.

Oh, wait....
FatticusInch, you really need to make up your mind. Either you want a conversation with me or you don't. If you're worried about me 'stalking' you, stop addressing me. As for what I can't abide, you're grossly mistaken, but the truth wouldn't sit well with you so I'll say no more about that. ;o)

Gromit, I cheered when Theresa May went. The woman was a disaster.
TTT, //no one wanted her [May] booted straight out//

I did.

Actually I think Boris should walk away right now and let them get on with the mess they've created.
Can anybody name one Prime Minister who hasn't lied? Sir Winston Churchill, the great doyen of Prime Ministers lied, he even admitted he did.
Mozz: that was mostly batting away remoaner sour grapes. We didn't want them flayed alive afterwards. This is a whole new level of lynch mob nastiness. I can understand a bit of gloating, great enjoy the win but stop it with putting the boot in after. The man is down you won.
// I cheered when Theresa May went. //

People are cheering that her replacement has gone. But you are calling that nasty?
An actual question for once. What's stopping Dominic Raab taking over for the next couple of months, rather than a lame duck PM that a majority of his own party want consigned to history? Isn't that what the Deputy PM role is all about?

In contrast to the unqualified success that Johnson has been? PMSL.
You really ought to watch the clip from the comedian but also the Rory Stewart one.
Two men at opposite ends of the political spectrum, both factually destroying your beau with the same ‘agenda’. Lol.
We should all be granted a day off on Monday to party. :0)
Vulcan, first we have to define what is considered a lie. As I have demonstrated on here time and again mostly they are not lies.
errors, failed intentions, opinions, predictions that didn't happen, etc none of those are lies but the illiterati often claim they are.
No, Gromit, I've called the whole thing spiteful - because that, in my opinion, is what it is.

Because Johnson cannot bear to actually have to hand the reins of power over to one of the minions, it’ll be soul destroying for him.
It’s all about the narcissism, nothing else.
//The man is down you won.//

I've won nothing. I've been saying for months that Labour's best chance of winning the next election was for Boris to stay, clinging on by his fingertips, in No 10.

I wish Boris had hung on, but I think he was defeated by all the nastiness and caved in the end. I really don't care that he lied, they all do, it goes with the job ! As some have said on here, he should have called a GE and I agree with naomi, he may as well leave now and let the mob sort out the mess they have now got into. I personally, can't see him staying until October.
Just been on news on radio he won't be having party at Chequers.
mozz; "An actual question for once. What's stopping Dominic Raab taking over for the next couple of months, rather than a lame duck PM that a majority of his own party want consigned to history? Isn't that what the Deputy PM role is all about? " - Not easy constitutionally, Deputy PM is not like the Vice president, he can be acting PM whilst the PM is incapacitated but not the actual PM. Logically the PM is the leader of the party and technically if the leader of the party goes then the new leader is the current deputy leader of the party. But either He or the DPM to accede to PM would have to be invited by HM to form a government. Historically this has not happened and the incumbent has stayed until a replacement is found. This was done in 6 days after TGL. If the 22 get off their Aprils they should be able to sort this in a fortnight.
No party ? Oh my .
now Mozz, compare and contrast my answer to your question to fatti's at 10 and see what kind of person you have aligned yourself with. He is incapable of looking beyond his rage and nastiness. I gave you a clear sober answer.
What an expensive booze up they turned out to be :0)
