Richi Sunak
Tory MPs have just, without any mandate from the British electorate, voted in as representative of their party & the country, the first non-white leader of any European country in its history, that is to say back & before pre-Roman times. A man who is richer than any other European politician, a Hindu of a Christian country, who has recently applied for a green card to work in the US, & whose fabulously wealthy wife has had to be shamed into paying UK taxes, and who has i.m.o. the charisma of my front door mat (which, memo. badly needs replacing) & would have less chance of connecting with the working class people beyond the 'red Wall' than a covid- bearing Chinaman.
Has the Tory party gone collectively mad?

I can see where you're coming from, Khandro. Think of all the kudos and apologies you'll receive when reality dawns and Rishi imposes CBDC and Digital Id's. (Jim must be rubbing his hands together in anticipation ) Congratulati ons to you, by the way, for bringing left and right ABers together in such a heartwarming display of unity (even if it was only to hate...

dave, maybe but I know he has 'ethnic' friends so I don't think that's the whole story. He's banging on about Rishi's connection to Jewish bankers - but he's not actually saying what his problem is with that. He seems to think there's some sort of conspiracy afoot - but for the life of me I can't think what it might be.
Conspiracy theorists never like to spell out the theory Naomi. They prefer enigmatic hints and buzz phrases like 'I'm justing asking questions' and 'follow the breadcrumbs'.
The reason is that when you write these things down plain prose, they start to look as monumentally stupid as they actually are. Better to remain enigmatic.

Actually, the analogy I gave at 10.22 was rubbish. Rishi is British so to compare him to an English president of the US doesn't work.
Barry, //I'm shocked at the claim that this is a Christian country.//
Don't be shocked. It is a Christian country - (and long may it remain so) - because like almost all of Europe and the Americas, our society is founded upon and based upon Christianity. Charles said quite a long time ago that he would like to be known as Defender of Faiths but when it comes to his coronation he will pledge to defend one faith - Christianity.

Khandro, if 'multiculturalism' is your problem I think in Rishi's case you're over-reacting. It's not as though his religion is likely to influence the way in which he does his job. I still don't know what your issue is with him working at Goldman Sachs though. You surely can't be putting that down to an aversion to multiculturalism - can you?
'Liz Truss easily beat Sunak in the ballot of Conservative Party members to become Prime Minister on September 6, but she was never given the chance to implement the policies on which she was elected. The international bankers and the globalist Tory MPs saw to that.
Sunak is not popular with the grassroots outside Westminster and that’s why the MPs engineered it so that he ended up as the sole candidate this time around, meaning the membership could be ignored … again.
This is the third time in 19 years that members have been denied a say on who is the leader of their party. Why do they continue to put up with this?'

// to wait until we are allowes a general election is stupid //
Why?
In 2019 the electorate voted in the Conservative party to govern this country. Most people on polling day went out and put a 'X' on their ballot sheet in favour of whom they wanted to 'head up' their constituency. It just so happens my MP stands for the values (mostly) which identify and represent me. Hence they gets my vote.
