> how do you know when a liar is telling the truth?
I'm sure we're all guilty of being liars, of lying at some point in our lives, for some reason. So let's not imply that this person lies about all things all the time, otherwise the answer is too easy! The real question is "How do you know when someone is telling the truth?" and, as you know, it helps if you are there. But if you're not, you rely on the evidence not only of the someone, but other witnesses. There were several witnesses, one of whom is Lady Susan Hussey, and she resigned, which in itself is a form of evidence. Why would she resign if Ngozi Fulani was lying? I think she, and the whole Palace machine, is quite capable of handling a downright lie told about them, without capitulating as if it was the undisputed truth.
