Gary Glitter Released
after serving 8 of his 16 year sentence - do you think he could resurrect his music career? I still enjoy his records and would probably go to a gig if he did one locally. Or do you think he should be permanently outcast?

And you certainly know me better than to think that my abstaining from confirming the obvious somehow equates to supporting him, or excusing anything he did.
My point, which you are keen to ignore in your perverse desire to condemn me for a view I do not possess, is that he is not his records, and his records are not him.
Some people are unable to separate one from the other, and you are clearly one of those.
I, however, do separate them, as I do with any art and any artist.
If you think my demolition of your offensive meaningless scenarios is patronising, that simply demonstrates your inability to address a different point of view with the simple objectivity that basic debate requires.
And if that means you no longer wish to debate with me, I find that regrettable, but that's your choice.

There must be something wrong with me as I find it easy not to listen to music by the likes of Glitter, Jackson, Lostprophets ( Ian Watkins)etc.
In my weird mind the paedophilia element of these scumbags tarnishes everything they achieved musically to such an extent that I just can't listen to them.

You seem keen to join in with someone else, and also completely ignore what I have said, in order to assume something else which I have not said, and then jump up and down on me for it.
I have no idea what happened between yourself and your French teacher, how could I, so on that basis, I have no comment to offer, part from the observation that it has nothing to do with the discussion about Gary Glitter.
My observation was about music and the musician, and the link, or not, between the two.
It had nothing to do with Mr Glitter's abhorrent behaviour, and even less to do with your French teacher, so quite why you are shouting at me about that, I have no idea whatsoever.
// YOU MAKE ME ASHAMED TO BE A STOKIE! //
I couldn't care less.
