Boris Johnson Resigns
Answers
Good. He can do what he likes now. As long as he stays away from public office I wish him well. If he shows up at the house of Lords to take taxpayers money for making jovial speeches I'll start to dislike him again.

Boris Johnson has demonstrated time and time again that he is not a fit person to be given the keys to the stationery cupboard – yet people still support/admire him. I can only assume these people have a similar level of integrity, in that they believe it perfectly acceptable to continually lie and not give stuff about others.
Worryingly there are a fair number of Boris fans, whose moral compass must lie (similarly) smashed to smithereens.

St Urgeon was elevated to Demi-God status by the Nats, which always surprised me because by any objective measure she was an abject failure as FM, and now of course, there’s the tawdry little matter of the missing £600k which apparently she knows nothing about. I believe that about as much as I believe in the effectiveness of homeopathy.
As previous posts will prove I was no fan of BJ, mainly because I disagreed with the unnecessary lockdowns and paying people to sit on their *** - I said at the time this would come back and bite us on the backside (and was routinely rubbished on this site for saying so) and guess what? But having said this, there was a lot of pitchfork wielding going on and it ended up being a witch hunt simply because he was disliked by some.

The current state of the Tory party is much like the last days of the Major government, in which scandal after scandal, did for him and his government.
But things are much worse now, with maybe another year of this slow train crash – the Privileges Committee report which caused Boris to resign in a strop, was only a draft (we don’t know what it contains) and the Covid inquiry is sure to destroy any lingering belief by Tory die-hards that there was a smidgen of competence/integrity in their handling of the pandemic.
Undoubtedly there are more locomotives heading towards this crash site (besides those in Private Eye) – there are interesting times ahead, prior to the next general election.

From the moment he came into public life, Bojo the Clown has done nothing but take the pi ss out of the British people. He was living a bet, to see how far he could go before being kicked out, and all the time laughing about it. Now, it's everyone elses' fault that he's resigned. He's a proven liar and a hypocrite. The Tories will pay the price of Boris johnson for years to come.
