Four By-Elections Looming Ahead.
The odds are that the Tories will lose every single one of them.
With the Boris Pantomime , the disastrous outcome of Brexit, the worst fall in living standards in a generation. High food prices, crippling energy bills, high fuel prices. Mortgage repayments going sky high, and the Economy stagnating .Why would you ever want to vote Tory again in your lifetime.

"That's spin. The electorate hasn't chucked him out." First of all, you really need to work on your policy of non- engagement. Secondly, it isn't spin: there is nothing Parliament can do that forces an MP out. Suspension is temporary. If the electorate were on Johnson's side then he would have had the perfect opportunity to prove this by, first, testing the...

I seriously don’t know if Labour would have done a better job considering the circumstances leading to the present crisis we have. However, I think they would have done it with more integrity. Tories will get stuffed at the next elections. People have long memories, especially when they are remembering boris partying away while they could not spend the last hours of their loved ones lives beside them
Not so very odd Gromit.
Time was when political difference was between left and right ideologies, but for some time now it's been more centred around EUphiles vs EUphobes (the latter being the side with valid justification).
It's more odd that all political parties do not seem equally split between patriots and others, but I have to guess many parties ideology can't involve doing what is necessary for the nation, but rather must contain a desire to ask an external power to tell their nation what they must do instead.

The current Tory government (from 2010 onwards) has undoubtedly been the worst UK government during my lifetime.
And yet there are any number of ABers who are vocal in their support for everything they have done or are proposing to do.
I have a feeling that they are the same people who think Brexit a fantastic success for the UK, and if they were asked – they would confirm that the earth is flat, the moon landings were faked and Elvis is still alive.

As I have mentioned elsewhere. The way the pandemic was reacted to is a totally different subect, so trying to mix it with the clearly irrelevant 'partygate', which, in the main, is about Boris rivals having a go and just flinging things at the fan, not caring who got hit, is an invalid argument.
And a lot of recent upsetting of folk who lost relatives to Covid is precisely due to those same individuals who were flinging at the fan opting to tie the behaviour of those deemed to not be compiling with the restrictions with the loss of relatives; and not caring a jot who got hurt as long as they had a go at Boris. Shame on them. And those who supported those appaling tactics are clearly as bad as they are.

Totally wrong.
Partygate is about rule breaking. Boris imposed rules which in the main the rest of us obeyed. Boris broke his own rules on numerous occasions, and was found out and fined by the Police.
But he compounded that by lying about it to everyone. If he lies to me I expect it, he is a politician and they are often economical with the truth. But he lied to MPs and Parliament which is a very serious offence.
The consequences, losing his Premiership, losing the Inquiry, losing his seat, were entirely down to his own contempt for the people and the standards of office.
