Sorry I can't do links but on the bbc news app there is a report that the TV doctor has gone missing.
He is with his wife on the Greek Island of Symi and left her on the beach to go for a walk Wednesday lunchtime. And not been seen since.
Apparently his phone is at their accommodation . Various rescue services have been deployed.
I hope he has not had an accident in a remote part of the island.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.all I can say is that I hope that they have plenty of formal search teams out and about and if Greece has the equivalent of what we had in the States, an informal organisation like Equus that can be brought in with their extensive numbers and resources like drone coverage to act as additional search back-up.
jno - you prying minx! I look at the edit history on wiki but I close thedoors and windows and draw the curtains before I do ( I have a nerdy enough reputation)
