I watched the coverage of Rishi Sunak giving his speech, then leaving No. 10 today. I then watched Keir Starmer giving his speech, but couldn't recall seeing Angela Rayner nearby, or in the crowds. Just curious as to why? (If she was there, please remove this post Ed).

I've just seen Rayner's outfit, whatever possessed her.

Smudge. Ms Rayner  can not help her accent or the way she looks. Although she has a head of hair that most female abers would like I am sure. Have you ever recorded your own voice and played it back ..Try it you may be surprised  as to how others hear you.

While a dialect can include differences in pronunciations from the language it comes from, it also includes differences in vocabulary and grammar. The word accent, however, describes just a distinct way of pronouncing a language. It does not include differences in vocabulary and grammar.
