snowing
Well looks like the majority of the country had snow last night.
Choosing my words carefully, are we still allowed to say WHITE snow, or is this politically incorrect.
Can you think of anything else that we have left that is OUT of the clutches of the PC brigade

If however, they went to drink poor quality Chardonnay and get felt up by the bloke with the dodgy left eye from Human Resources...then it should be called a Winter party.
What makes "white" 'wrong' is white shtts who think they have a monopoly on human rights. Racist a55holes make it incorrect to acknowledge a persons unique qualities.
Focus on the cause to minimize the effect: Destroy racism, sexism, and all other forms of tribalistic idiotistical supremacy, and PC will follow.
Sorry, but I have personally had 4 experiences where the press did precisely that. Two of these were minor stories that if reported factually would have filled nore more than 2 column inches, one was at best an inaccurate exaggeration, and one was totally fabricated by the reporter. Three made the nationals in and by the time they got there they bore very little resemblance to the already flimsy story. In all four cases individuals were quoted as having made statements that were never made - on or off the record. In other words, the reporters - shock, horror! - lied completely.
At best, the various media report their own interpretation of events, very often though they quite simply make it all up.
Cheers, stoo (Long time no post?), the reason that our work's party was called a "Winter Party" was that it took place in January. (Because of the nature of our business, there is no point having one in December as it clashes with so many, (separate), client parties.)
But still, just shows how you can omit a few material facts, and tell no untruths, and it can so easily be portrayed as "PC gone mad" and therefore attributable to the "PC Brigade". (Who They?)
Still no explanation for the "crosses" in crematoria point.
Did they fake the scaffolding on the graves so they could sensationalise?
Brachio, of course health and safely is necessary and I take your point about the litgant tendencies. I just find some of the things a little silly though. I suppose if you have stupid people and greedy lawyers then you have cater for the possibility of litigation so some of the things are really to stop people sueing for stupid things.
However, as we're all still waiting for any actual evidence, bit difficult for anyone to give an informed answer...
Oh yes, and the ban was not fully implemented.
(Interestingly, the Daily Mail printed similar stories about Islington Council & Haringey Council banning the rhyme claiming it was to be Baa Baa Green Sheep instead. That one was completely made up.)
Still waiting waiting for justification for points above.
Hal there's loads of evidence, but you'll just poo poo it so it's pointless to spend the time to point you at it. What would you accept as evidence anyway? A sworn affidavit witnessed by a notary probably and even then it's a "conspiracy".
As said above, the media do exagerate, but in order to exagerate you need a sample, samples are all to readily available.
