have to be honest, I don't see how anyone can speak for the girls parents. There are a (perhaps surprising) number of victims relatives in recent months (or indeed, victims themselves in the case of that lady who was stabbed and paralysed) who have stated forgiveness or lack of malice towards the perpetrators of some hideous crimes. Not everyone wants an eye for an eye, and many feel that the death of the guilty party will not ease, but only add to their already considerable burden.

admarlow....I think (and god knows, I could never claim to be inside the mans mind or speak for him) that WM is just trying to make Norm think a bit about what he worte, devils advocate etc, esp given Norms previous dig at him over a far more trivial thread. As he says, if you'd read any of his previous posts on such matters, you'd be left in no doubt as to his feelings regarding Huntley et al.
Good god! it's worse than I thought, I'm now sticking up for Ward-Minter.......this News section really does have a strange affect on folk, doesn't it?

However, he *does* make a serious point, and even if you don't agree with him, we should recognise that not everyone shares our own views - debate is good.
