The reason the NHS struggles is because of management and structural flaws (over-centralisation and central govt intereference, huge bureaucracy, funding). And the fact is that the best evidence being offered in this thread is individual people having a whinge. That's highly unlikely to representative of experiences across the country.
On top of that, you have to remember (as pointed out) that you have absolutely no idea if the people you're referring to were born in the country or not. If they are, they're by definition not immigrants. Because they didn't immigrate. Easy.
Plus you have to remember that immigrants tend to concentrate - so the large number in one area actually appears far larger than it is nationwide.

Oh give over Koromovaracun! You know damn well what kev means!
What he said was that having a foreign name indicates that they weren't born here. Which is nonsense. It just indicates they have a foreign family somewhere along the line. Much as my Welsh surname doesn't indicate I was born in Wales. Only my grandfather was.

To throw your they weren't white so they need chucking out of the country slant into context...
Some new social housing flats have just been built near where I work and when I say new I mean tenants have only just moved in this week and the construction company is still doing some tidying up outside.
So far all the tenants have been white and from hearing them speak english, not content that they are being given brand new flats cos in the words of one 'theres no fkin furniture is there' the police have already been called out due to one domestic, the building is already looking shabby with bits damaged and thats in a week!
Personally couldn't give a tinkers cuss what colour somebody is or where they've come from so long as they have respect for others and contribute to society.

Again, that's due to problems in the administration of welfare. Incentivised giving (like the US welfare reforms of the 90s) devolving the administration and designed to get people into work would be better all round.
But that's not the fault of immigrants. That's the fault of the government/civil service. And all the immigrants who happily work and pay plenty of tax are just as condemning of it as the average Briton.
There's a world of difference between a 'scrounger' and an immigrant. People need to recognise it fast.

misterL. some Britons would rather sponge and get their job seekers allowance/disability benefits. can you please explain how much a single person gets on disability benefit and how do you tell if the person is genuine.how much does a single person get on incapacity benefit and how do you tell if he or she is genuine.you seem better than the doctors and consultants at spotting these people.
Day in and day out there are many immigrant men just milling around doing nothing.
Again, this is testimony of your area and is unlikely to be representative of the country as a whole.
Plus you don't know that the ones you see aren't working - unless you've spoken to them or you've watched them every hour of every day. Is it always the same individuals? If not, then how do you know that of the ones you see, that all of them are unemployed? How do you know they're immigrants? How do you know what proportion of their ethnic community they actually make up? They could be a handful of immigrants who look like a lot due to their concentration, but may well be a tiny % of their community.
Lots of risky assumptions there, I'm afraid.
