Saw a BBC documentary some years ago about an Afghan village, showing how justice was meted out to people who broke the law. Stonings,hangings & be-headings were discussed with the local executioner. He made sure that the victims died as painfully & slowly as possible.
He was very proud that he had executed a Russian prisoner of war by cutting his skin around his stomach,he then pulled it up his body to cover his head, then the poor bloke suffocated to death.

Back to the 7 year old boy - sqad made a very good point on page 1. What would you do when faced with a small child coming towards you who you know had been packed with explosives and used as a 'bomb' mule or whatever it's called. A dilemma indeed - kill the lad or see countless others get blown to bits?
