even if he was 'snooping' and giving someone information...

maybe someone was paying him and he was thinking he was helping his family by getting money for them...

having said that.. if someone was using his as a spy - or information gatherer - they are despicable too! Jees... what a situation!

Mind you - the Taliban have used children as suicide bombers too havent they!

Presumably that's what they wanted the Taliban to think too. The boy may have been sent there to have a look and tell them what he saw. I wouldn't know as I am here in England rather than Afghanistan.

I doubt whether the child could be used for intelligence puposes, while at the same time he could hve been brainwashed and 'schooled' as a suicide bomber

Both sides in the Afghan Civil War use children either as spies/spotters or indeed as suicide bombers by the taliban.

Children being used in conflicts is despicable but sadly all too common around the world.

A little boy comes towards you, about 6years of age, holding his hands out to you, crying and steadily getting closer to you and your patrol.
