So England's wicket keeper has found the need to announce that he is gay, does that mean the others will now have to announce they are heterosexual?

In the scheme of things why do homosexuals think it is so important to announce their sexuality to all and sundry?

/// He said he could no longer bear to lie about his sexuality. ///

/// "I'm comfortable with who I am - and happy to say who I am in public," ///

/// I feel it is right to be out in the open about my sexuality. If more people do it, the more acceptable it will become. That must be a good thing. ///

Do they think that they are that important, and that anyone is at all interested in their sexuality? I know that I am not.

So is your point Reefer that homophobia is OK cos the Bible says so?
Jesus - hmmmm

no mention of a wife or girlfriend

wore dresses

very close to his mother

had 12 'friends' round for late night 'suppers'

indulged in kissing with a man behind some bushes in a garden somewhere

rough s&m with some soldiers finally did for him and they tied him to a stick

Dodgy. Very dodgy.
.
LOL - nice one Zeuhl.
Adam & Steve ?
Crikey............I haven't heard that for.....positively minutes !
"Jesus - hmmmm

Oh. I thought he did. I thought every historical record ever (except for "The Bible" created by Emperor Constantine, or whoever it was, to try to unify his diverse citizens) said that Jesus was married, to Mary Mag, and had children ... hence the whole story about the Knights Templar, and the "Holy Grail" being the hidden bloodline descendants of Jesus.

No?
May i say to the whole world and the AnswerBank old queens and crusty's that
I couldn't give a toss.

This story is on the front page and all of page 3.
A young Sikh TV boss is found dead of the boot of burning car, small article page 11.

So to all the readers saying you are gay and proud is more important than murder.

How times have changed when a person feels he must out becomes the big story and murder on the streets of England is pushed inside.
I think that the Editors of the newspapers are the ones deciding the size of the headlines and upon which page they appear............
<<You still haven't answered the point regarding those gay TV chat-shows guests that are not slow to come out with their own gay innuendos and jokes, all at the expense of the host. >>

Because, as I have said before, innuendo is different to offensiveness and what you said was offensive. Clear enough for you aog
Another point the article on the murder is next to an article on the cat at number 10.

There is a bigger picture of the cat than the article on the murder.

To answer the original question.
No I'm not bothered.
I've never heard of him.
I'd like to announce I'm a heterosexual...Given the chance :-)
I am sure if all the gay footballers stood up to be counted at the same time, the mass of footy fans would have apoplexy.
Personally who cares, its their business.
Genuine question, there is so much in the news these days about 'Gays'
coming out where are they all coming out from, or is it a case of jumping on the bandwagon because it's fashionable ?
