A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter Nungate Towers this evening. We have a varied selection of volly vonts and canapes for your delight, on the "hot" trolley there is steak and mushroom pie, a pie packed so full of deliciousness that the gravy has to be served separately as there was not mushroom left inside for it. For the Vegetarians there is a nut roast and bean burgers. On the pudding cart we have Eve's pudding - she put up a fight but we got her in it just the same, of course served with custard!
In honour of the return of Strictly Come Dancing tonight's tailcock is the Strictly Delicious a potent brew guaranteed to bring Sparkle to our festivities. As always the rofl will be drawn later in the evening, and I have some broken lute strings (donated by one of the minstrels), a tin of armour polish, and Igor has stepped up and donated a used corn plaster (thank you Igor)
The second running of the Great Hall Sack Race will be run around ten and we have rigged up the old gibbet on the south tower for bungee jumping!
Tonight's music will be provided by the Minstrels as usual and they have informed me that as well as the customary madrigals and toccattas they will be playing a selection of ZZ Top's greatest hits and a selection of Salsa and Samba music for those who want to give their maraccas a good old shake
Igor is on hand to conceal coats, cloaks broomsticks (and bodies is required)
