Just wondering if anyone else is attempting this quiz? I think I have over 30 answers, which I am happy to share if anyone needs help. Stumped on the feather, big pink knickers, red kite, black tower, bbc microphone (thought The King's Speech but mic probably too modern), milk bottle, carrier bag, two stetsons.
Many thanks

ah, right, thanks mamya. Perhaps a joke on the filmmakers' part rather than the Radio Times's.
Thank you, angryboy, that explains it for me , its obviously II to tell you which book/film to pick.
And as to confusion about the plastic bag, if anyone's seen American Beauty, they'd know how the kid is obsessed with watching the video footage of the bag in the wind and thinking it was somehow mystical.
Hi, would anyone be able to scan the picture for me. My parents are asking me to help them with this and you can't buy this edition in the shops anymore, and they've no way to get the picture to me. I can't really do it without looking at the picture and I'm loathe just to look at the answers
Would anyone be able to scan the picture for this and upload it for me? My parents asked if I can help them with it today and there are no copies in any of the shops, and they can't get their copy to me. I can't really do it without looking at the picture and I'm loathe to just look up the answers. Any help would be great
angry-boy shouldn't complain about others not reading the previous posts when he clearly hasn't done so!

Red kite has been discussed endlessly.

I can't see the number 22 on the original image from Harry Potter in the link you've supplied. It therefore appears to have been added.

I agree Man On Wire does look to be the right answer although I wouldn't say it was a well known film.
I'm pretty sure the stone plaque represents a gladiator's grave stone (look on google images)
Ah, yes, I can see the II on the image mamya supplied. Thanks.
Man on Wire did win a BAFTA and an Oscar in 2008-9
Yes, AngC, I think you're right. Well spotted.
It's actually called a grave stele and looks very similar but I can't find the exact image they've used. Seems quite specific though like the Harry Potter clue so could be from a movie. . . not one I've seen or remember. I don't think Moon is a clue, or 22
Yes , Marucat,i have read all the posts and like i said 'The only answer i don't think has been found yet is for the red kite'.
Out of the 40 answers i have for this quiz, that is the only one i am not happy with.
Yes, it could be 'the kite runner',but the film doesn't appear to have any scenes with a 'red kite' in it.Would it not make more sense to have an image of someone running with a kite?
But time will tell.
The cover of the dvd The Kite Runner shows same shaped kite in same position just not so red
You have just gotta read ALL opinions and make up your own mind.
Generally it seems to have been accepted that images have been ADDED to picture. Admittedly that leaves the moon on a 50/50 basis.
The gates behind the Elephant Man from my memory are there already, they are I think access to the sewer/storm water outlet the structure actually is.
Re Titanic as said before the flag not penant flying from the stern is the Royal Navy blue ensign - Union flag in corner on blue background. Shipping companies penants are never flown there but from the mast. The white star line penant is a white star on a red background.
That shoes are not shiny is a destraction. Some prop dept had to acquire a pair, the originators weren't forging something but making up a pic for entertainment.
As for the lights on pier, they are there, one set has had a blue one added. No conspiracy involved.
As for Railway Childen based on the knickers, Jenny Agutter tore off a RED strip from her petty coat to stop the train.
If you are not sure why not some simple reseach to base opinions on?
Does the bird called a red kite feature at all in the film Kes? I know the 'star' of the film is a kestrel but if there is a red kite in the film then Kes might be the answer. It's certainly a well known film.
The plastic bag is American Beauty, and the red kite I've gone with Kite Runner?!?!? Any ideas with the moon???
Thanks
