The doors of Nungate Towers have again been thrown open to welcome all of the Mad Over Fifites out there in AB land. Tonight's tailcock will be the "November Noggin" a spicy warming brew, just right for a cold, wet and windy November night. Also on offer are our usual selection of horses doovers and volly vonts, tonight's "hot plate" we have "All in " casserole - who knows what might be found in there, dumplings? Well, maybe......
On the pudding trolley is Plum Duff and custard. The minstrels will be playing pontoon in the gallery, our favourite band The Tone Deafs will be playing in the Great Hall. We have a special guest performing in the Music room, Flamenco Flo and her poodles. Such fun.

For tonight's roflI have: 1 Spartak Moscow shirt (trampled)
Bag of catnip
Jar of odd buttons

Welcome one and all who dare enter here

Hi Polar - you may like the bucket of rainwater, it will freeze well to make ice for your G&Ts......
Mmmmmm, a Speyside me thinks DT.
Question Author
By the bye Polar Bear, did you happen to notice that we are currently installing a refridgerated parking bay for your 'berg? All part of making our guests here at the Towers welcome.

Igor, IGOR!!!!! Find out if our guests would prefer a nice malt instead of the tailcock and put the Tapster on alert to fill the orders, thank you....
Question Author
We have a small distillery a few miles from the Towers - a Lowland Malt maybe Tony?
You can park my berg if you like Tony. Take care of it though. It has belonged to the family for years.
That sounds terrific, nungate so yes please.
Don't worry polar I'm a careful driver.
It's raining, it's pouring,
Nungate Towers are storing
Water from the pouring rain
While the winds are out there, roaring.
The howling spray now is stopping,
The rain's no longer dropping.
The Sun comes out and soaks, Nungate water
Like a Mrs Overall mop that's mopping.
The water's still there now,
But chilling in the air now.
In the Tower's Fridge it makes a home
Until there's Polar Ice to share now.
It's raining, it's pouring…
Nungate's Tailcocks are that restoring.
Question Author
Restoring? Our tailcocks? How refershing! Thought you might have preferred the local malt DT, Glenkinchie, have you heard of it?
Question Author
^ make that "refreshing" Having a bit of keyboard trouble tonight
DT, answered this morning, same as tony x
I must say that I haven't, nungate.................
I'm afraid I've only got Grouse in my hip fask
must be going mad then, sibs - nothing unusual in that. I'll go and look!
Well in that case DT, we must give it a try.
Nothing wrong with Grouse imo, sibo.
"mes apologies" - just hope the pedants are not around.
Question Author
I don't know that much about whisky, but I do know I don't like it! (shock horror!) But I do like to recommend Glenkinchie because it is local to us - I have taken a bottle over to Menorca for a friend a couple of years back, swapped for some Menorcan gin! Son Xoriguer I believe, nowadays there's even an Edinburgh gin....
LOL bet they see it, DT.
Question Author
Pedants are not permitted to enter these hallowed halls! Grouse is a fine brew - best beloved (he who does not drink has a bottle for toddies when he has a cold!)
Good Evening all.....sorry no shoes opting for my socks and slippers this evening..cold toes and all
