Good evening and welcome to Nungate Towers.
Igor is at the door waiting to welcome you all, be careful if he offers to take care of your coats, and cloaks and broomsticks, you may never see them again.
Tonight's Tailcock is the Big Bertha, an anticipatory sort of brew.....
The running buffet has become firm favourite and will be running round the Towers yet again this evening - try and catch it if you can! For those members who are less fit (or just lazy) we have set up a nice supper in the snug. There you will find sorts of goodies as well as our world famous volly vonts, canopies and horses doovers.
As we still have a semblance of pleasant weather, we can indulge in some out door activities this evening, there are some pleasant walks around the rose garden, and the lake, we can stroll down to the beach (water is a tad cold and not really suitable paddling) The outdoor pool is heated so anyone who would like to go swimming can borrow a swimsuit.
Our favourite local band, The Tone Deafs have gone off on a tour of the Outer Hebrides so we have engaged the services of DJ Bernard for dancing down in the ballroom. All our usual facilities are available for members use so come on in and join the party
A warm welcome awaits who dare enter these portals

Evening your nungateship, gawd that Bertha woman is powerful she blew Indie and me round the Orkneys before depositing us in Edinburgh ( poor Indie as hardly any bristles left ).
Anyhoo, for the riffle I have one set of rear brake shoes suitable for a 1964 Austin Westminster, one Rubiks cube ( damaged from where I kept throwing it off the floor in temper ) and one slightly chipped vase celebrating the marriage of Princess Ann and Captain Mark Phillips !.
Igor my usual bucket if you please.
Good evening Tony sir. Madame will be along directly. Your bucket

Evening Tony, I hope you are well. Before I forget, taped some interesting footage yesterday, much better than the stuff I told you about!
Thank you, Igor. Mmmmm this Big Bertha is nice slurp slurp.

Sounds interesting, nungate.
Evening friends. Eric and I have also had to battle against the wind, sorry to be late. Had to tuck Hebe under my hat and tie on the hat with seaweed. Bit pongy. Deferably need a drink. Riflewise I have various coloured cartridges for a fountain pen, a packet of coloured pencils (need sharpening) and a box of water colour paints (blue nearly used up).

Will tell you all about it later. It was more or less the entire film (abridged) but interesting need to spend more time watching and making notes.
Welcome Madame Daisy, let me take care of your outer garments. Please have a seat in the snug and I shall fetch you some refreshments

Hello there Daisy, you seem a trifle...windswept! Bit blowy out? Do come and make yourself comfortable Igor will be with you shortly
Evening Daisy, Liking the hat decoration.
We aim to please Tony.
Everything was a bit of a rush tonight. Got involved in listening to the cricket and somehow Time ran away from me. Must give him a good telling off when I catch up.
Question Author
Good result though Daisy. Mind you maybe they hurried things along as the forecast for tomorrow is awful!
Listening to Geoff Boycott on the radio and he was advocating a Declaration to avoid Bertha.
Time ran away from me. Must give him a good telling off when I catch up.

I do keep trying to turn him back, Daisy.
But he just keeps marching on, Tony. If only he would stand still occasionally.

They didn't need to though that I think is the important thing. The won the test outright - mind you I only have a very rudimentary knowledge of the game Mr. N keeps trying to get me interested in it but I start hearing the grass grow and .....
Evening all.....I'll begin with a Bardish offering

The Cornish peal of thunder, the flash,
A Zeus hurled spear,
lighting the dark Bodmin canvas.

The rain falls pitter-patter,
against the sashed windows,
forming a droning rhythm.

Another enormous boom,
Thor's hammer strikes,
the rain becomes AB aggressive.

A wind gust,
stronger than a sqad patient problem
of monsoon anger, Bertha rages hard.

MoFCers find themselves scared,
this ex-hurricane weather,
reminds me to down another bucket.

The storm would rage,
inside my body,
a running buffet, real flatulent typhoon.

I now knew why,
the Towers' clouds never left,
a real dungeon torture,
lightning Igor quick - another Bertha please.
I just can't seem to get interested in cricket, no matter though the prem league kicks off next week.
Lovely game nun.
We played it at our (all girls) school.
Evening DT, this Bertha business is supposed to be over my neck of the woods in the early hours.
