We are now approaching Week 4 in the reign of Baron Brian of Norn Iron. This will be his last week and we all have eyes on several entrants who could win the glory and be permitted to set the MM Links throughout the month of May. Please remember that this game has been on-going for well over two years now and in that time we have had over 25 different champion/setters. Consequently, when choosing the next MM Champion, I am looking for a reasonable compromise between "predictive skills" and "fresh blood".
Tearing hair, I used to read all the goings-on in the Shrubbery but never dared to "speak" as I thought it was a special group but it's not . It's for anyone and it's really nice to know you have plucked up courage to join in.
Hi Kay, nearly finished the ironing? Pauline should be here shortly I imagine and then Sarumite will be joining in when he has done all his chores!
By the way Strix how is the leg?
laney, the leg is not being cooperative - I think it has shares in companies that manufacture analgesics. It will, the quacks say, be quite some time yet before it is mended.
I really shouldn't jest but I think sarumite has probably had to spend the evening doing semaphore alongside the TV set. So if you see someone this evening trying to order a drink by waving their arms or using an Aldis lamp that will be sarumite. tearinghair both the KM and MM links are the most ridiculous inconsequential souffles of fun. That said there are some who do take them frightfully seriously but not the majority of us. Give it a crack, tearinghairyou can no worse than most of us!!
Laney, am still ironing, I am a very slow ironer, it drives my daughters mad, I suppose it's one thing I am fussy about!!!
STRIX-- re what I am ironing. My 2 Yorkshire terriers now have the distinct look of greyhounds!!! Does that give you a clue ?????
Sorry gang, but Strix is off to his eyrie as he has to be up at some very unStrix type hour tomorrow a.m. to collect Mrs Strix from Grocklewick Airport.
Night night.
Poor you Strix, it must be so frustrating. How long is quite some time? Can you get out at all?
I do hope Sarumite has managed to do the TV for his Mum, he will be along shortly, haven't seen him waving yet!!
Those poor dogs Kay, its time you took them for a walk, let the wind blow them up again. It is actually quite windy here!!
Twix that reminded me of school too, I hated playing it for Assembly as it had about 5 sharps!!
night strix, catch you in the morning
hope the leg begins to behave
My son has his foot and leg in a pot caused by playing football with six year olds!
Have finished my ironing and now am turning in. Goodnight Twix (I think you are the only one still up!!) Hope you do well on Links tonight and tomorrow. Kayx
