I brought a Doggy Bag.
The waiter (not the dumb one, this one spoke quite a lot) gave it to me after lunch. 'Take this home with you for later', he said. Don't know how he knew about our raffle, but here it is.

An unusual combination, but it worked for us.
The restaurant overlooks the lifeboat station and the lifeboat sailed out when we were there... all those hunky men in life jackets...lordalex tried to assist them by shouting directions and waving his arms, but eh waiting staff managed to overpower him until the boat was out to sea.

Well I am away now as I am very chilly. Cold ! Cold ! Colder than an eskimo's willy and thats really chilly. No heating allowed in the great manor until the towers are lagged.

Mammy I think next week we should make stone soup - it will stretch itself and all will be fed

I can give you the receipe

You boil the water when other people are around put in a stone and say that is all you have
but you will share it anyway and then someone will put in a onion and so it will go on until we have a whole load of things in it

Be sure to take out the stone for next time though
