Mad over Fifties Club

Good evening members everywhere.
The Club is now open.
As the cold damp weather is persisting, the fires have been banked up in the grand hall and the kettle is singing on the hob in the upper scullery.

Members are advised that there will be a Committee meeting this evening . Unfortunately the agenda has been mislaid, so we will have to make it up as we go along.

Tonight's lecture is entitled 'Crochet, are you hooked yet ?'

I am walking upright again but it took a bit of practice. As it is quiet tonight I have set us a little quiz. When did D F S not have a sale. All correct answers will be entered into a draw, prize yet to be decided

Hello, I'm here now. Terrible trouble getting here, took a few wrong turnings in the fog. If there is a raffle tonight I haven't brought a prize, nor will I be buying any tickets after that bad business last week.

I can confirm that all can attend as all are on the committee.

I think that letter from the tax man set lordalex off this week. He really has a passionate dislike of everyone with a geordie accent now, ever since he tried to phone them once.
