Good evening members everywhere.
The Club is now open.
As the cold damp weather is persisting, the fires have been banked up in the grand hall and the kettle is singing on the hob in the upper scullery.
Members are advised that there will be a Committee meeting this evening . Unfortunately the agenda has been mislaid, so we will have to make it up as we go along.
Tonight's lecture is entitled 'Crochet, are you hooked yet ?'
Good heavens, if the IR are after his Lordship, that explains his behaviour. Off to the maze, will try not to prune his Lordship.
Are there any tailcocks tonight, I'm parched.
sorry for my absence was searching the grounds fer his lud and Alfie spotted a rabbit and went down a hole and I drank a potion and then and then....its all a bit vague
AS his lordship and myself have taken to the gallivanting that we did last weekend, we may be straveiging more frequently.
If I leave the key to the clubhouse on the hook in the lean-to at the bottom of the garden, would the first to arrive care to open up in future ?
I don't like to think of you all languishing in the courtyard in the cold whilst we are tripping the light fantastic.
sorry...may have spelled it wrongly...have never seen it in print, just heard it, you all know how it goes.
Anyway, we like a good stravaig. It does you good.
Better get the zimmers into a circle ready to repel stray posters who seem to have a low opinion of us.
Mi'lady glad you enjoyed yout stratavig, must try it sometime! Kawakiri if I was offencive I do apologise, I'm very old and don't get out much. Missed the committee meeting, are we calling the chippy? (dog's just let off)
Stravaiging is thoroughly enjoyable and much to be recommended. Good for the health .
Aye aye to you too, Dame Kiri. Will you favour us with a song ?
I think the chippie is a good idea. Mamya is faint with hunger.
Chips and a gherkin for me as usual, please. And get that dog back on its lead, Lordalex has a gun, you know.
