Once more her Ladyship and Lord Alex are gallivanting as the aristocracy are wont to do, so I am in charge of opening up and welcoming members both old and new.

I have even been granted the keys to the cellar, so name your tipple and a good time will be had by all. Nibbles are also available on the buffet sideboard in the great hall.

I had arranged a most interesting talk by Myshell Scampini on the exotic recipes of seafood from across the globe, however she has cancelled due to pulling a muscle doing a tug of war at the 'Save the Barnacle' fundraising event. Still am sure we can swap recipes of our own.
Raffles tickets and an honesty box are on the hall table by the vestibule.

My donations are:
A box of glass headed pins.
Half a tube of Immac.
Crocheted tissue box cover (lilac and lime)

For the minutes, ttfn sends her apologies (yet again) and new member Muzz may be popping in so do welcome all newcomers and show them the ropes.

Sorry for absence, lost my internet connection for some reason but all ok now, ready for bogie-pushing as and when required

I rather think Katy changed her mind, when asked to part with her winnings Alex.

Would you like a sausage roll dear? they are still warm.
Hello, I have been in the wilds for a week, no internet connection, what do these people do for entertainment? Foxed me!!
Anyway I befriended a haggis and have brought him for the raffle. His name is Hamish.
Did I hear someone mention Baileys for the raffle (sneaks round by raffle table hoping to get a crafty look) That's got to be the first prize. Has it been opened yet? It's not an empty bottle is it? (whispers to mamya ) did ladyalex notice the extra drinks we had last week mamya?
Frightened her off did I matron, never mind I will settle for a sausage roll and a tailcock, Hello Miss meg hope you had a good week. Hamish is very sweet
Question Author
Miss Meg, good to have you back and the haggis is just lovely.

Star you are welcome to a large Baileys dear, her Ladyship has entrusted me with the cellar key (guilty at leaving me in the lurch, maybe)
Her ladyship on the razzle again? Best of luck to her. Wish it were me!
Not sure about showing newcomers the ropes. They may get the wrong idea, especially if you mention the dungeons. Personally I have always preferred silk as opposed to hemp.
Hi mamya, Yeah me & mine are both doing fine thanks, All's quite in this part of the woods, How's it your end & how's the new born coming along? xxx
How old is that haggis Miss Meg? Is that what I could smell when I came in? Perhaps we should use it now before it gets past its use by date.
Question Author
Daisy ooh silk, yes much nicer.

Liverpool, yes all well here and little chap is now six weeks old (tomorrow) doing well and being christened a week tomorrow, nice to see you around.
Star, have you done a risk assessment on the haggis? It would be awful if she came home to an investigation.
Not very good at aging (or sexing) haggises, he is very active so I assume he's a pup, my guess is 9 months.
He doesn't smell, must be someone else's offerings.
Did you have the cellar key again last week? Wish I'd been here!!
I'll have a glass of the champers, from the bottle Alex has hidden in the vault.
Please Mamyaxx
Perhaps the Gamekeeper has been in here without wiping her boots. She's new so perhaps she hasn't realised just how that game smells yet.
Question Author
Yes certainly have a few fine vintages here Meg, watch that Haggis near my Alfie, he is very sensitive.
Well glad the little man's doing well mamya, Don't really get time to pop in these days due to all work & not much social life ha ha xx
Could I possibly have a tonic water (not slimline) ? Must do something about this awful cramp. Can just about add my own gin.
Question Author
Certainly Daisy dear.

Liverpool no social life, yeah I believe you LOL
A glassful of gin and just a dash of tonic will do you good daisy. That will make you sleep and forget about the cramp.
Question Author
Will away and fetch another bottle of the gin then and see what else looks like it needs using up.
mamya I kid you not, I went out a couple of weeks ago had 3 drinks and was tucked up in bed by 9pm, Ha Ha xx
