How nice she looks in simple dresses which show her good figure. Why does she spoil it all in her wedding outfits.

There are some really rude and ignorant people on this site!
That's why we love it lottie.
Have just downloaded a Miss marple with Julia Mckenzie, am so pleased.

Hija has just given me her old (9months) LG Viewty phone so I can use it in England as it appears to be unlocked. My English phone is a couple of years old now, although it's aNokia and they are the easiest to cope with!
Just had a good laugh at you lot with the joggers and yer grumpies etc.LOL !

I eventually go my phone sorted after sitting in The Orange shop for an hour honest! on the phone talking to a flirty young man called Ian from The North East and then going home after he couldn't sort it and had to ask his oppo what to do and then ring me after 2 at home. Before he rang me I switched it off then back on again and Bu**er me if it didn't work so when he rang me I told him it was done. I'm now yawning - can't be bed time yet can it?

See yer later 'gater(s) I'm off for a Baileys.

P>S> I missed that programme Shaney. I'll have a look on iPlayer
Hello all. I live in joggers and pyjamas at home in the winter. I also hate new clothes but needs must when the old ones go into holes. DH much better tonight he slept for nearly the whole of my visit (13.45 to 1730) and when I said had he slept well, he said "yes you must be my dreamcatcher" sweet or what?
Then he bullies me for not arranging his table and bedclothes right!!!!!
The taxi driver who brought me home was a nice chatty man I had met before. He knows that DH is in hospital and that I visit daily. When I got into the cab and said hello he said "come on let's get you home" nice man.....tomorrow his daughter finds out whether her IVF has worked...he was so excited and nervous.
Sleep well all
Hi there. what a lovely thing for your DH to say Woofy. I'm really pleased he had a good sleep. You sleep well tonight as well.

Shaney I have just watched that programme Fabulous. what memories for me. I have to tell you honestly I was in The 2 Eyes Coffee Bar when I was15/16 and I got Wee Willie Harris's Autograph ( his hair was pinky/red) and I have still got it in my Album. Amazing programme. I was a real Teddy Girl but didn't carry any Metal like they said the boys did. But I did wear drapes and crepes (shoes for the uninitiated) and my jacket was maroon with a velvet collar and my skirts were midi length with splits at the side but not up to the thigh. I was in the cinema in Derby to see Rock Around the Clock and there was a bit of a do but no damage to seats. But a lad called Ginger was turned out and we all started shouting 'We Want Ginger 'so they turned the sound down (I am now laughing out loud here about that ) They did turn it up again.
That's enough remenising (sp!!) for tonight.

Sleep tight everybody Jude. Rock & Roll!!
A BLACK velvet collar I must stress that's what we had..lol!!
I wonder if a rocker would call himself Wee Willie these days...
have been to a promotional evening for Normandy food, and sort of constructed dinner by nibbling foie gras, camembert and calvados and kir normande all evening, which it must be said is all a bit rich <burp>.

OH won a prize draw AGAIN - that is two this year, two last year... but rather disappointed as it was a bottle of calvados and should have been a free trip to Normandy; but the MC got the prizes in the wrong order. Life is cruel sometimes.
Evening all.

Hija and I went out for an all you can eat Chinese buffet, lovely it was, Mr N took himself off for a curry as he didn't fancy a chinese. Saw my medico there with his novia!

Hija's phone needs unlocking, damn.

I've recorded that 50's reel thing, will watch tomorrow.

Yes jude Rock around the clock with that fat Bill Haley and his kiss curl, loved him. I was a Rocker (as much as parents would allow it!) then I became a mod cos I preferred the clothes, although I had a motor bike and hated scooters.

Must try to get some sleep now. nite nite all xx
Good morning peeps.

TV is only working in front room, all the extensions are off cos the box needs replugging in, I usually do it but I get shocks from it so have roped Mr N into doing it now, mind you, if I do it it is done immediately having to wait a while for him!

Hope Mr woofy is improving daily and you getting some rest woofy.
Is Mr s up and about daily doing usual things shaney?

Good morning Biddies.

Am sitting here waiting for an important call from solicitor and I want to go and have a shower, etc. Why are solicitors the slowest people ever (and the most expensive) grrrrrr!!!

It is 5 years since I first started on this land sale venture!!

You certainly are lucky with prizes jno!!

I am too young really to have experienced life during the teddy boy rock and roll era, but I remember my parents going jiving to the Wimbledon Palais twice a week in the 50's. I remember that era but was just a child. Sniggers!!!!!

Do you have a television in every room Neti?

I must admit to having a small portable one in the spare room where I iron.

I have things to do today and I just can't get on now!!!!
Morning all...oooh, intit cowd? Even my permanently tropical friend has bought herself a new coat.

lol @ Wee Willie :o) I remember my bro having winkle pickers & a string tie & the family taking the mickey but he wasn't a real 'Ted' he just loved the music.

Hope you and yours are all doing ok today... bit headachey myself but (everything crossed) the awful body pains seem to be easing.

I just have to ask, what's the Bus logo all about? There were some very long threads about it but I lost the will to trawl through when no one seemed to know the real answer.

Haven't got a clue Robi. Like you I gave up, but I still keep seeing it in latest posts. The Ed. seems to have done a runner anyway!!

It's actually the flounce bus. I was thinking we could do a series of stencil logos on emblems of Britishness or similar. In general, as logos with buses in go, it's alright then?
Question Author
Thanks jno!!

Damn and blast it. Solicitor had phoned and left a message. Phone must have rung when I popped outside for about 1 minute. I hadn't checked for messages.

Now have to ring him back at 12.00. Well at least I can go and have a shower now!!
I thought we embraced all nationalities on here...or is it loosely linked with next year's carry on ...sommat to do with sport I think.

Praps the Ed's busy designing a uniform for the head prefects... a nice pleated pinafore in hessian maybe.
Morning All. Lap-top playing up just had to dash down with it to the local Computer Buff who sorted it for me didn't want any money but I gave him a fiver anyway. Off to meet my sister now for a walk to a pub for lunch. See yer later 'gater(s) Take care all....and have a good day.
Question Author
Hope you have all your tickets for that 'carry on' next year Robi!!
