Lol...lol..my brother came this morning and brought me ................
a big bag of apples !! Runner beans , toms and cucumber .
I have so many runnerbeans in the freezer I think I'll have to hold a runner bean party to get rid of 'em .
By the look of todays weather Neti you'll need that lovely coat and some thermal vests . Looking on Accuweather it seems a bit up and down for the next week .
It's blustery here today but not cold .
My neighbour is having her windows replaced at the front .I bet it's draughty in there .

Yes Lucy is lovely .I bet she's got men who have never opened a history book drooling and running to the library .She's very flirty.
I think she has a slight speech impediment which may be why she seems to talk out of the corner of her mouth .But she makes it all very interesting Better than some of these dry as dust historians .

Well your first week looks fairly good neti, high teens to low 20s so I'd pack some light stuff for the days & warmer for night... and a rainhat & pacamac :o) I'll update you at the end of the week, my ball's a bit foggy after the 20th.

Ha, ha, ha!! Nice coat though Shaney. Which reminds me I have a body warmer with furry Afham trimmings and lining.

Well my M&S coat turned up and it is going straight back.

Too short in the arms, too short in the waist and the collar which does up as a funnel neck is really, really weird. You zip in right up and it covers up almost to your nose and there is a pull cord at the very top of the funnel. And when it is worn with the funnel neck down as a collar, the collar is huge and flappy with this silly gathered effect where the pull cord is.


Ha, ha, it is just plain stupid, but it would save me buying a burkah if I wore a hat with it.

he he I told the flat dwellers at the back this afternoon that the maybe plans were getting rid of their "gardens", oh squeals (they are South American) but we have the deeds (to you lot) so have I for 40 yrs but that won't stop them (actually they were my mother's 40 yrs ago but hey) why should I be the only one worrying! << smirks>>They do have off street parking, but it's tight, but that'll be my defence!!

Well...we've had a baked apple with cream as afters ,I've cooked some apple to freeze for compote .I may have an apple and cheese for me supper .Early dinner as football is on Teevee for Mr S.

Tomorrow we can have apple slices with liver and a blackie was most grateful for an apple on the lawn ....
It's appletime ..haha

And i've not long stringed ,or is strung , and frozen about five pounds of runner beans .
It'll keep us going . I'm very grateful to my brother and his veg .Bless him .

Sorry your coat was awful Lottie .I was very happy with my Debs parka type jacket today .Just the thing for this weather .
Best Parkas are German Army .Mr S still has his original one .They're extremely hard wearing and very warm :)
