My coat's arrived, very nice for the offer price (well it'll be better when the creases drop out, tut) but I wouldn't pay full price. Just covers the btm, versatile but it's not long term classic quality so it'll be wear it whenever... now I need a new parka...new waterproof...'nother pair boots...shoes...wellies...bags (Kipling one not arrived yet)....brolly...

Have decided that new coat will be bought at the end of winter so it will be new for my spring holiday in cold country!! Will wait for the sales. Have also decided that I need another Berghaus (or similar) really to wear on the deck in the snowstorms and icy blasts that I envisage!!!!

Glad your coat is fine Robinia. I still have the coat I bought from Next when I worked in the Job Centre when son was 6. It still looks good, but is somewhat tight. Long, navy blue and pure wool. I have also got a bright red pure wool jacket that I had forgotton completely about. They will have to do!! My old faithful weatherproof coat (the one that was my son's) will see my out another winter!!

Yes that makes sense Lottie but the best sales are often those that start just before xmas. In the days when I could be bothered to go to town regularly I got some good offers a day or two before the 25th.
I've got an m&s fleece on today, I could do with some new ones.

I have some that are at least four years old. They have faded, but wash well and don't go baggy at all. I use the old ones for gardening and messing about indoors. Have just bought another two pairs, one blue and one navy!

I have a red one, a bright blue one and a black one. I just wish they were a couple of inches longer, but they are fine. Wash so well and dry in a flash and look presentable too.

Perhaps Neti would like one to go with her cuffed trackie bottoms!!

I would prefer a wider knitted cuff, and yes it's to keep ankles warm, even with bootie slippers it gets very cold in the house in the winter.

Lol ..the infamous joggers .Love them and have about twenty pairs and Loftys cast offs :)
I must cast an eye over my coats at some stage soon .But I need other things .Boots ,nightwear , dressing gown ,bras .Oh I could go on and on ...........
I've done nothing all day but watch tele catching up on stuff I've missed .
That thing with James Martin and the NHS food is very good Woofy and I've just caught up with the Reel thing with Melvyn Bragg .The second one would interest our Jude .Lots of jiving in the fifties .It's an emotional programme .

I don't understand throw away emails .All I wanted was a copy of a crossword .I can't be bothered to go to trouble of setting up something like that for a crossword !
