Lavender Oil

Can anyone recommend a good lavender oil please? I've bought them in the past and they just didn't smell right somehow. It's mainly for refreshing wheat packs, pillows etc.

Baldwin' s of the Walworth Rd in London ( not far from the Elephant and Castle) are true herbalists and do a postal service. They will make it clear whether they are selling the true flower oil or artificial versions.
By the way, they sell wonderful Pot Pourri oils and lots of other perfume oils.

Put a dab of Frontline behind your ears lottie!
There are so many cds/dvds I'd like...oh and a blingy watch...a silver pendant... a canvas wall art ....some hair stylers...a cuddly toy... :)
Speaking of cuddly I think I'll look for some baby knitting, I've probably got some suitable patterns, they don't change much for new borns do they.

Morning/afternoon. I'm fed up with scrolling too 'fuffoowaffin' far down the page.
Well you have our weather report from Robi early on. It was coming down really well but now it's eased off a bit. I've driven to Sainsburys and back for some petrol and it wasn't too bad to drive in. Hope it's the same in the morning as I'm you know where again at 10.00 and 10.40 appointments.
Keep warm Everybiddy - it wont last long and the nights are drawing out again aren't they...!

Getting all your appointments bundled together, Jude? Good idea. I have tracked down my osteo - I thought he was still in Brazil, where he went last year, but it seems he's in Covent Garden, so he's going to make a pastoral visit to me tomorrow and poke my ribs back into place.

16.45 here and am just sitting down to a cuppa after clearing our hija's wardrobe, cos I bunged all my stuff in there Willy nilly when she left, have found at least 10 handbags which I had forgotten about, they are now under the bed! Have done 2 loads of washing and made a cottage pie, feel absolutely shattered, must have been caused by having fun yesterday!
Oh well said Lottie and Shaney!
We went out to waitrose and had lunch in the car, i had a bento box and the boys had sliced beef. Tomorrow morning we are going out, its getting ridiculous all this snow and freeze forecast but not happening.
After jno's recommendation I have got Heston's lasagne for tea, they were 2 for 8 quid so i hope I like it.

oh those moaning anti-immigrant threads, as an immigrant who's been paying high-bracket taxes for years, why don't they just get off the internet and find work yada yada yada
I don't believe it, I just bit a pastrami sandwich and YOWCH. I have yet another toothache, different tooth this time but next to one of the ones treated earlier in the month. That's three since Christmas. I am fed up (though without wanting to sound too much like desktop).
Dentist away tomorrow so will see him Wednesday.

jno. That same person had an argument with me last year some time because she said I was lucky to have my own home and not be in council accommodation. I did point out that it wasn't down to luck in any way, but she wasn't listening. We have to make our own luck in life, rather than sit on our backsides and complain about others that are trying to do something to better their lives.
s long as people work and earn their own living that is fine, the only trouble we find is that some of them do not have the same values as we, and thus they steal (obviously we have things they want so they just take them) it happens a lot here but the pólice do nothing about it, but Spain is cracking down on the Brits mainly as they are the illegal immigrants and costing us a fortune with health care which they do not contribute to although they do not get any monetary help! We pay about 300€ a month for National health care plus halfprice medicines.
yes, OH finds it too rich too. But I of course am accustomed to richness in all my ways, and I love the taste.
I am all in favour of cultural diversity. Tokyo is a fascinating place but somehow it is just all Japanese, unlike London and New York, which take in anyone. (Well, I say that, it's 30 years since I saw Tokyo, but I'm told it hasn't changed much.)
