Lavender Oil

Can anyone recommend a good lavender oil please? I've bought them in the past and they just didn't smell right somehow. It's mainly for refreshing wheat packs, pillows etc.

Morning all...we've had a dusting of snow, it looks very festive in the hazy sunshine.

I'd like some brain bleach please...I watched Sunshine and Roses last night, I was wreck by the end of it and I can't get it out of my head. In case you don't know it's about the children who were shipped off to Australia, and other countries, particularly those sent in the 40's - 60's (I can't believe it was still happening by then), many of them having been told their parents were dead when they weren't...and then they were terribly abused. Please tell me, if you know, that some of them did well...it was shameful, how can man be so cruel??? I thought I was toughening up in my old age...clearly not.

Ok neti, what was so good you asked it twice? And who dared to chastise you? There are some serial pointer outers of duplicate posts on here....and that isn't a crime, tut.

Morning all, chilly here but sunny. Oh a frosting of snow for derelict of derby, lucky thing! I hope we are going somewhere else on the island today for lunch as am fed up with this village. It was someone called Mattk who had answered my original q (which wasn't my q at all but tagged on to someone's elses q, so I couldn't find it) I was seriously hurt and felt aggrieved, but I will get over it :-( doubt that he will though!!!!

Am still in bed, oh dear the weather is clouding over as I type.

Very cold here .Dry and brightish but no snow as yet .
Oh that sounds awfully sad Robinia ..I'm an awful blubberer at sad programmes so perhaps it's good I didn't see it .
I don't like these related Q's either .I saw an old post of mine thrown up yesterday in my old name sans the 2 from 2005 !

Yes, upset and helpless is exactly how it made you feel, not to mention ashamed that a civilised country could be responsible for such things...been chatting to my sis and it had the same effect on her.

Sorry you're feeling down Lottie, hang on in. I think I mentioned feeling edgy yesterday-ish, the dark days we've had haven't helped...and I must stop watching sad things. What with Lost For Words, last night's film and the polar bears earlier in the week I'm an emotional wreck. I need to flick some jelly about :)

right, I have been to Tescos and found a pizza to panic-buy and hoard, and spread a hundred books among the numerous charity shops... the Children's Society people were very off-hand, they looked as if they'd been having an argument, I shouldn't have intruded, I should just have given them to the Hospie shop, who were much friendlier. Oh well, I'll know next time. The sky is starting to look grey and sluggish, but I have my pizza and my slippers and my microwave so all is well with the world.

we went to Morrisons which is rapidly emptying of food...amazing. Bought lucozade and dog chicken and oxtail soup so thats the essentials covered.

Evening all, had a lovley fillet steak )first for yesrs cos of the teeth) and it was delicious just like marshmallow, also goats cheese salad, and the obligatory bottle of Blanc Pescador wine and fizzy wáter, then Mr N took us for a drive and then we went to join the plebs (they are really but fun too) in Es Cana and had a good time, joined by the hypnotist and it was all OK, just home now, 6 hrs, had a lovely time.

No worries lottie, we are here when you need to be. I am having anxiety dreams about hija at the momento, makes me feel very nervous when I wake up. Off to watch tv,, and I have the central heating on atm!!
