Lavender Oil

Can anyone recommend a good lavender oil please? I've bought them in the past and they just didn't smell right somehow. It's mainly for refreshing wheat packs, pillows etc.

I know exactly what you mean jno When we lived in NJ, although its more than 20 years ago, one of the things that struck me about it was hoe homogenous it was even though it has a huge emigree background. The residents are very proud to say that they are Irish American or Mexican American and so on, but with the exception of the Native Americans, the original ethnic background seems to be well watered down. Even African Americans have their own distinct culture with no more than a soupcon of African.

Sorry not been on much today...Still heady and sneezing. Bro coming tonight but wont be here until about Midnight after his 'gig' so I had a bit of a kip this after as I have to let him in etc.. He may be here for 3 nights. The longest I've seen him for for years :)

I'm convinced some of 'em think Queen Victoria is still on the throne and most of the globe is coloured pink .
It was snowing hard earlier but hasn't laid .Too damp .Picky rang and said they had quite a bit in Norwich though .

Hope your appts go Ok Jno .I've got doctors Thursday and then the irritable bladder people later this month .Our calendar is all medical mysteries this month with the odd birthday and outings to Sainsburys thrown in .

You're all very determined and patient to argue on here. I gave up debating and arguing years ago, all I feel in the end is tired and wound up. I used to have some long 'discussions' with the demanding neighbour, she's got some antiquated opinions...she's a gemini and just when you think you're getting through her twin takes over :)...I'm a love and peace/ignore the ignorant kinda gal these days. I think I might emigrate and go and live with neti, she cooks a lot of cottage pie.

Good morning frm a sunny Ibiza. Have got a stew slow cooking, am washing the bedspread, the sheets ,the pj's plus the normal underwears and tea towels etc, Have an american friend hee who makes the most delicious cakes but she and her husband are very hard up, and her electric whisk has broken and she was looking to buy another but she can't afford it, so I have an new unused one with several blades so she is having that. She wanted to exchange a cake but i said no, way too fattening so she is buying me a coffee (1.50€) in exchange for it.

Off to washing room now to hang out another load and pop the next one in!

thank you, neti, nice sunny day here but somewhat crisp. I expect all the apples and plums have died a death by now, since they were already budding. Do they get to try again or is one chance a year all they have?

If the buds have been frozen then that's it for this year, the trees wont have time to make more flowers. There may be some late buds that haven't yet developed so keep your fingers crossed. We went out and gallivanted in the dark this morning, the dogs loved it and there was no ice or frost but it was blooming cold. The boys ran around for a while, went miles then came back and said "cold now, Make us warm NOW!!"

I agree about the madness. Someone is complaining that they posted personal stuff on CB and its now on facebook....someone else said that anonymity was being whittled away and yet he used his ab name on twitter coupled with his real name and the area of the country where he lives....
I reckon the Ab Editor will end this day with a flat forehead from beating it on a wall.

lol yes I can't see any of my posts coming up on FB as they are so dull but then I literally can't see them because I've never become friends with the AB page anyway.

Osteo has crunched my neck back into place and tried to nudge my ribs into a more advantageous position and has gone back to the Savoy where his rooms are and will return to Brazil next month because apparently there's only one other osteo in a city of 11 million people so business is booming.
