Ah Vinny poor little birds!! Yes it was a great match for The Rams. My son drove from Wales to Wembley on the Monday and then home after the match to here.He had a great time. Roll on next season.
Robi I think the cinema was called the Black Prince. I could be wrong of course. but I have a feeling they built The Merlin pub on top of it when it was pulled down in Duckworth Square. I watched Tommy last night when I got in from the pub,did you watch it?
I've had a great day today. My cousin and his wife with their narrow boat came to the Shardlow and I picked them up and took them to my younger sisters for a barbecue. First one this year. Then on the way back I took them to my house for a cuppa and another chat. It is only the second time I have seen them in 30 years.
Sorry you haven't had much sun Shaney It's been lovely here, but gone a bit overcast now and somebody has a bonfire and it's choking.
I'm going to watch Barnaby tonight as well. I don't know why but I really like that programme. I'm sitting here looking out of my back door and my grass don't 'alf need cutting, must send for my gardener!! Only joking I can cope with me Flymo!
I'm at the dentist again tomorrow and Thursday, then it's paying to bill time.

I'm constantly amazed at what gets through the net on here Vinny....

well I'm shattered -been too busy & was just getting my dinner ready & charlie had a strange 'turn'....no idea what it was & seems to be ok now. He'd come to the kitchen door & was sniffing as he does when there's a cat out there & he suddenly started wobbling about. Don't think he was in pain (cos he's a yelper) & he was 'with it' ...anyway it passed after a few mins but it seemed like ages. He was a bit quiet for a while but I think he's alright. I'm wondering if he had a cramp somewhere, it happened once before when he'd been lying on his front leg & it obviously went to sleep.

Evening All Hope you are all ok. Well Shaney I have just finished mowing my lawns so I guess that makes me a bumbler like Mr.S.
I hope Charlie is ok Robinia I know how pets can be upsetting. I said I'd never have another but now I am retired it has crossed my mind.
I went to the dentist and have to go back tomorrow as well as Thursday now, just to finished off and check everything is ok so I will miss Tai Chi, which I am quite upset about as I have only missed about 3 classes since I have been going.
