but silth123, isnt that what christians and muslims do all the time, accept things without question?

Im sure you can be stoned to death for questioning your beliefs.

"Philosophy is questions that may never be answered. Religion is answers that may never be questioned."
^^ Brilliant Ratter
I don't believe in deities
I don't think we need them now
I believe we need to believe in man
To show us why and how
I don't believe we need to feel
Less than we really are
For we are dust in the face of space
In the might of each burning star

I disagree profoundly 10 Clarion Street

If you disbelieve and no proof is possible you are as religious as those you oppose.

Even if your level of required proof is very high you must be convincible.

Is there a difference between:

'disbelieving in god' (or anything else) and 'not believing in it'?
I think the Sun is a God as we would not be here without it. That is a fact.
To quote Richard Dawkins "There probably isn't a God".

Well, I probably won't win the Euro Lottery to-night, but I sure as hell am going to buy a ticket.
To declare that, "No proof is possible." is a self-contradictory assertion of an unproven 'fact'.

It is simply a refusal to insist on proof that allows one to believe in the impossible.
me
o sorry i thought the question was do u believe ure a god ha lol

i agree 10st clarion, and no ratter, we dont make people convert without there consent, they agree, if they do not want to they do not have to...as i said, its just some stupid people who take it the wrong way, like everything else.
Sith123, its the stupid people that kill because their bible/Koran tells them it is the right thing to do, or haven't you got to that page yet?
