There is not doubt Tommy is a political prisoner.
The support he is getting cant be ignored.
Now it is protests, next it will be violence.
People have reached breaking point.
Do you agree?

For all of you who consider Tommy a mere criminal, he has more moral authority than the judge who sent him down.
Remember the Tolpuddle Martyrs and Emeline Pankhurst?
Robinson broke the spirit of the law. The Canterbury injunction, loosely worded as it was, meant "Keep your public nose out of these cases".

I wish he had.

But the full force and vigour of the law - efficiently and with great expedition - has put a man in prison because he's been illegally reporting the trial(s) of alleged rapists.

Why has Plod not shown the same force, vigour, efficiency and expedition in pursuit of the rapists?
And why can't AB's Sadducees get that?
How many more times? He pled guilty to the charge or was that made up?

Was this all prophesied in the Bible, I wonder?

Then maybe technically he was guilty for reporting it. But the judge did not want to consider that what was reported was already public. So the ideal opportunity to put him away, and for the full thirteen months. The judge could have reduced it but of course this was all political.
Yup, course it was.
Clearly there is no fence to sit on in this instance; you are either one side or the other. I appreciate the fact that he broke the law and should have been punished but the speed with which it was done and the severity of the sentence leaves a nasty taste and does nothing to inspire public confidence in the judiciary.

The order to arrest Tommy came from on high, not from an ordinary copper patrolling the street.
Who ordered them to arrest Toomy?
If we get an answer to that it will prove the authorities are rattled.
I am proud of Tommy, he fights for me.

A short nine minute speech from another freedom warrior who is detained and being deported, read out by Tommy.
There's nothing "technical" about it. Reporting restrictions were (for good reason) still in place when he chose to break them, knowing full well he was already on a suspended sentence. People are just determined to make him into a political prisoner because they desperately want it to be true.
He is a loud mouthed self-serving antagonist with a thug like following ..keep him where he is !
Feed him to the Tongans!
The man is in jail for breaking the law.
Repeatedly.
//The order to arrest Tommy came from on high, not from an ordinary copper patrolling the street.//
Your proof of this is?
He may have broken the law but I don't think there can be any doubt that he's a marked man and always will be.
doesn't really matter where the order came from..he broke the law and suffered the consequences..thinking he'd play the martyr ? rock on Tommy..you stay where you are 'till you can behave !
We should be grateful that some people don’t behave. He highlights much of what is wrong in our society.
at the risk of such low lives going free ? nope NEVER !
