Am I wrong when watching soaps to squirm and shut my eyes when two gay men have a passionate embrace.

Todays soaps seem full of it. Call me intolerant or whatever, I do not want to watch those scenes.

Mamya it is my little pet hate. I changed my name to Mrs over 51yrs ago, this is part of who I am, a married woman. Calling me Ms means nothing to me, it's a sound, it sounds like a bee, msssss! When I ask companies why they call me this, they say it's to please the ones who don't want to be called Miss or Mrs so I say to them ok, change my name to Mrs or else I will no longer do business with you. That usually does the trick!
woofy, .>>surely you don't grudge others what you want for yourself?
Don't know what happened to my answer there, unless I said something I shouldn't have. :-(
Pixie....you ask if you need to know. If its a general and passing interraction then there is no need to use anything...if you are going to be talking to them frequently or taking down details you ask.
Barsel I can't see any removed answer
It's strange what happened to my answer, I definitely wrote something. Anyway, it was just to say, of course I don't mind if other people want to be different and be who they want to be, I just wish life could be less complicated with all the labels that go with it. Sam Smith wants to be called 'They' I mean, really?
^ And the Daily Mail obliges, calls him 'they' and 'their' at every conceivable opportunity! Really makes me chuckle.
why is wanting to be called "they" any different from wanting to be called "Mrs" and not "Ms"
Pixie - "Your views are insulting to women"

I'm sure you just say things for dramatic affect.

If anything I've said has offended someone simply because they are a woman then I think they need to come to terms with some harsh realities.

If you copy and paste what i said that is so offensive to 50% of the population, I may even apologise for how you took what I said in the wrong way.
9:10 - sorry can't answer for laughing !!
People are what people are. Deal with it or be a dinosaur.

i find it difficult to see people slobbering over one another, both sexes that is, not just two men.
then i must be one ^^^
Me too, emmie - but as Mozz says, people are what they and others must deal with it.
as i do,
Yep. I guess if having to deal with it is the order of the day, it must apply to all so others will just have to deal with the dinosaurs too.
just call me tyrannosaurus from now on, lol
I agree emmie...and as I said much of it seems to be gratuitous.
It's all a part to normalise it.
I have a gay son, but he would agree with me that the media has an agenda.
