I maintain my belief that Ms Guiffre's motivation was to have her day in court, rather than obtain money as a settlement.

I would suggest that her legal team advised her that the chances of actually getting Andrew in court to testify were slim to none, and a settlement was the best option open to her.

She got money, but money is not necessarily the same as justice.

And that 17-year-old girl was lied so convincingly that the people believed her rather than a prince of the Crown, a billionaire financier and the daughter of Robert Maxwell, without evidence? And the photo was faked, and the £12M but shouldn't have been, and ...

Ellipsis, I don’t think the notion that she was a worldly wise 17 year old who knew the score is an outlandish explanation. I think it naive to assume she was an innocent in all of this - and strangely enough it’s the men who are claiming that. Maybe some of us women recognise worldly wise girls rather better than the men do.

I know she was offered a job as a ‘travelling masseuse’
which she accepted. She certainly travelled too. She met Andrew in London, New York and the Caribbean. I don’t know when she resigned.
