Stop immigration for 5 years?

The UKIP party have called for a stop to immigration for 5 years, are they right?

It`s reached the time now where this problem is irrelevant. I think we should now have an open door policy on everyone. Anyone from Mongolia to Iceland should be allowed to come here. This is true Global Capitalism which the people have voted for ever since the second world war at least. if you don`t like it then why did you vote for it ?

My opinion is that we should close our borders to all imigrants, so we can boot out all the illegals already in this country...together with all the foreigners that are on benefts.
Once they have been sent home...then open the borders to people who have emloyment arrangements here, but only on the basis that there are absolutely no brits able to do the work.
If that makes me a racist....then so be it.....
I pay over �1800 a month in tax.....i hate the fact that it goes to the spongers of society in this country...let alone freeloaders from other nations.

And Oneeyevic I think you'll find Ghurkhas do learn English in training so your wrong Ghurkhas do speak English i work with them i should know and how would they work along side the British in the British
Army if they couldn�t understand us nor we them. Ghurkhas are one of the hardest workers I�ve ever had the pleasure to serve with and most return to Nepal up completion of serves and them who stay deserve to after 22yrs of loyal service to our country. I would have no problem with immigrant who would enlist in the British Army and do 22yrs of service for our queen and prove they are worth British status. Oh and how do you think Ghurkhas apply to join the British Army do you think they all come over here and go to the careers office or do you think they apply for the job before they arrive to commence training therefore if they can apply for jobs in the U.K from Nepal then people can get jobs before they come to the U.K. Try www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk its not hard if you don�t have the internet then find one if your so desperate to come to Great Britain, enough to risk life then finding a computer would be worth it.
As far as a child being born in England goes I was born in Germany I lived there for 16yrs with my parents serving with the British army and then we left to come back to Britain. I am not classed as a German citizen nor would I be granted it as you have to have 4 generations born in Germany to be classed as a citizen so why can�t we apply them rules if Germany can? To apply for a visa/work visa to stay in Germany for any period of time you have to show that you are learning their language and are going to work so why would we be so wrong to do the same?

We are seen as a meal ticket and our boarders are being abuse. Australia can enforce strict immigration laws and they aren�t being hounded but we try and enforce any and people complain and protest its ridiculous when do we get to say enough is enough..?

Thats just a pathetic comment. This isnt my GCSE english exam, i have a British Passport, i serve for my Queen and Country. This is a website where i can voice my opinion not be graded on my grammar or punctuation, so if your comment isnt about the question posed then dont comment thats not what this is about.
You write about "minor errors" but you would ban entry to a foreigner who cannot write English and there is another who supports yir view who cannot differentiate between border and boarder. As for my having no "arguement," (sic) yours changed fae throwing out all non-British born to allowing all EU citizens and Gurkhas to stay.
