That by definition means their religious belief is such that they think it is perfectly correct to kill people in the name of religion. How do you justify their reasoning ?

The problem is sith, you are trying to argue about something you clearly know very little about, that does often make you look foolish.
Just give up trying to convert people and enjoy your life.
Incidentally, the Koran does suggest you kill everybody that does not follow your god, same as the bible does!!

sorry guys, ok, i did know pdust was joking lol so if anyone thought i was serious, let me apoligise now :)
also vulcan, i agree religion may play an influence, but by no mean is it the only factor that contributes to it.
also ratter, i am not trying to convert anyone and i do have a lot of answers, however when i do answer people say i am going over the top.

There are a lot of Muslims who use AnswerBank. There are also a lot of Christians, Jews etc. and of course Agnostics and Atheists (like me). Personally, I would never take anyone's belief away from them if they need it to get through life, so I cannot understand what the argument is about. Surely if you are adult enough and I suppose mature enough to make up your own mind you form ideas of your own and from them decide what you are going to believe. It is very nice, I think, for all people, whatever they believe to join here and exchange views.
