Theland, I had a quick count up of names on the list. Jesus’ forefathers (so to speak) total 41 – so you’ll forgive me if I don't extend my investigation to counting random words, vowels, consonants, etc. Perhaps I’m not using the same version of the bible as your man.

The sevens refer to the original Hebrew. Which is logical. But so many are not interested in checking it out and just shooting the messenger. In other words, as usual, holding on to your conclusion no matter what the evidence says. I find it a bit sad that some of you find comfort in a clique.
Also, why scare people off with your abuse? Maybe some are to frightened to seriously discuss it for fear of ridicule? But if it floats your boat, then I guess nothing will change

Theland, you’ve invited people to ‘Take the challenge’ and when they do you say “The sevens refer to the original Hebrew”. In that case, have you taken the challenge? Would you be able to pick out specific words or recognise the grammatical structure of the original Hebrew? Do you even possess a bible written in Hebrew? I’m guessing your answer would be ‘None of the above’.

‘The sevens are a fact’ says the man who issues a challenge that he (and most other people) cannot qualify. Chuck Missler is an American evangelical preacher who is selling books (albeit some plagiarised) and running what appears to be a successful business on the back of the bible, Theland – not something I would ever be foolish enough to endorse. Incidentally, the New Testament was written in Greek. No discomfort here.

All names have meanings and so do these. The meanings of the names put together are interesting.

Missler makes a lot of things up. Do you agree with him on everything that he says? Are you aware that he believes in a flat earth? Do you know that he once believed and preached that the anti-Christ would be a martian? And he can 'prove' it from the Bible!
As regard 7's...You can get the same kind of calculations from any large tome, and using any number, if you look, Its called confirmation bias, similar to the best selling Bible Code book when it came out (and now thoroughly debunked). Ive read Misslers books in the past, along with many others of the same ilk, and at the time they seemed pretty convincing until you do further research, which I invite YOU to do.

No logic there. The ‘sevens’ refer to a piece in the New Testament – which was written in Greek.

‘Subtle’ indeed! So subtle that for centuries Jewish scholars who have made the study of these ancient texts their life’s work have failed to spot the hidden wonders therein. Good old Chuck with his penchant for selective flexibility, he’ll put them right – and he’ll sell them his wares (which he advertises more than once on that page) too!

Naomi, these religious 'scholars' and teachers certainly don't have to try very hard to dupe people like Theland. Back in the 80's when I was a teenage born again Christian, the books of Hal Lindsey were all the rage in evangelical circles. He made many prophecies that the world was coming to an end before the decade was up...all using similar techniques that Missler uses and using Biblical numbers to prove it. Amazingly over 30 years later hes still at it and still selling books in the millions.

Thank you Nailit, but some other searching found holes in the video knocking chuck missler. Also, I turned up a psychologist who reiterated what I have said a few times, how SOME people begin with a conclusion then search for evidence to support it.

Personally my opinions are based on the evidence I have discovered.
