Why would I want to 'befriend' a God that admits that it creates evil?
Isaiah 45:7...
//I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things//

God can’t be described as only in good terms for only being ‘good’ and all that entails.

If he is then there would be no opposite and no need of an opposite.

You cannot be or create one thing without its opposite.

At the very least god gave man free will. Free will to do what? Do the ‘good’ thing? If so there was a bad thing to ‘choose’ from. If there were bad things to choose from there would be no free will because we would always do the right thing.

Leaving 'God' out of it (for the moment), what attribute can you be
absolutely

Selfishness.

"Hurrah for Cedric!"

"Back to work now, and keep an eye out for honest and integral comments that are intolerant of intolerance, but tolerant of, well you know what I mean! If in doubt read your Site Rules booklet or just ban them anyway!"
Theland, you haven't answered the question.

That's not your answer..... it's a link to someone else's. Cop out again Theland.
it also talks a lot about Jehovah which i understand can mean god in some transcriptions
I concur with that answer.
I am a Christian not an Oxford scholar or Divinity and Theology.
Your petty nit picking should be judged by your peers on this site.
I await their verdict.
Theland, Ooooo.... you need to rally support? :o)

Asking for an answer to a question you've invited is not nit picking. It's a simple enough question. No degree in Theology required.
Yes, Naomi has an opinion, I have an opinion, Nailit does, Jim does YOU do, everyone does, that's what we want to hear not a copy and paste x
kvalidir, you're mistaken. Theland doesn't appear to have an opinion - at least not one of his own. ;o)
;-) x
