Why would I want to 'befriend' a God that admits that it creates evil?

//I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things//

Mamy and Spath, its all academic anyway as Theland has done one.
Maybe the evil is on earth and heaven is the good.. the something to compare earth with.
It's good to exercise though Nailit ;)
nailit //by that logic there must be evil in heaven/paradise?//
That is beyond human comprehension.

Oh? Righto Khandro...must be a mystery?
Is life not? ;)
Someone mentioned something about birds and bees
Question Author
//Is life not? ;) //
It certainly is...
But making statements as though they were fact and then (when questioned) stating that its beyond human comprehension isn't really helpful.
"help", the man wants help!

Who want help? ;-)
Were I to try to answer your secondary question of 'Is there evil in Paradise' - I could only answer that I don't know and doubt anyone does above guesswork.

Your main question is simpler based on having seen what your views are based on your experiences so far 'Why should I befriend a God....?' - my answer to that would be 'Don't'.

You are obviously more content without religion cluttering up your life now.

Which is why I wished that there was a philosophy section on AB....
Which is worse, a fervent Christian or a fervent atheist? Answers on two sides of A4.

Theland.
I (and I venture to think most others here) find it hard to have a debate/conversation with you when all we get back is a You-Tube link. Im genuinely interested in hearing YOUR thoughts on particular issues, not those of others.
Ive always had a soft spot for you Theland (and I don't mean the quicksand around the back of my house ;-) ) despite been a bit abrasive on occasion...one of my many faults.
Please try to actually engage in a discussion and it might be beneficial to us all whether we agree or disagree at the end of the day.
It seems like the internet equivalent of street preachers giving out religious tracts No one reads them, but engaging in conversation is so much more personal.
Israel is Gods timepiece for end time events.
There are so many prophecy sites you can visit.
You want MY opinion?
My opinion is that Bible prophecy is true.
Question Author
//My opinion is that Bible prophecy is true//
Then THAT is something that I can respect.
The next question (in a sensible debate...im sure you would agree?) is why?
Would you be willing, for example, be willing to debate unfulfilled bible prophecies, rather than posting a vid that most ABers will not bother to watch? And give your own opinion rather that trawling through You Tube vids for sometghing that supports your pre-existing point of view?
Which of the biblical prophecies is due next and when will it happen?
