I condemn the RC Church for its evil and misleading teachings.
If the priests have any integrity, they should read the Bible and question authority, not give blind obedience like the Jesuits, and their Jesuit Pope. //
No prejudice from you there then!
Aren't they your fellow Christians? And if not, don't you owe it to them as a Christian to tell them the error of their ways? You spend enough time telling all of us on here!!

Not like you then?
Have YOU read the Bible? No!
Do YOU question authority? No! (You have said previously that you subscribe to protestantism)
Blind obedience? Cant be much more blind than believing in a book that you have never read in its entirety.

Nailit - Educate me.
Not too hot on Kings. Not read all of prophets.
Do however spend a lot of time studying scripture, not just whizzing through it to tick a box.
If I read something, I like to follow it up, investigate it and try my best to thoroughly understand it in all of it's prima facia meanings, as well as its deeper meanings and implications, and the comments made by great biblical scholars. It takes time. Quality not quantity.
But you know more than me so teach me.

Theland - // Andy - I hope and pray they will shrug off their RC rubbish. Lovely people being misled. //
Funny - that sounds exactly like what the Pope is saying - and not doing!
Lots of praying and pious hand-wringing, and absolutely no meaningful action whatsoever.
Christians eh? You can't live with them …. that's it really.

Not the prophets tho?

It certainly does when reading the prophets.
That's why you have no idea what the 'prophets' are talking about (as opposed to us that have actually read them, and not just listened to some you-tube vids)

//Aren't they your fellow Christians? And if not, don't you owe it to them as a Christian to tell them the error of their ways?//
As an atheist as you proclaim don't you owe it to them to tell them the error of their ways?
You have been lambasting the RC church and the unnatural vows and standards of the priests yet you will not ,according to you, find the opportunity when you attend an RC mass every Sunday to teach your local priest the error of his ways?
Is it may be that you can lambast to your hearts content as a anonymous ABer but lack the moral fibre to approach your priest face to face and man to man and tell him what he represents and where he and his church are going wrong?

Nailit - Why are you posting on here?
As an atheist you are convinced of the only answer that will ever satisfy you.
Why do you consistently post simply to mock, trip up, or otherwise convince yourself of your own superiority, whilst some, me included, are still on our journey to a better understanding?
I think you are rather sad.

I don't 'proclaim' at all - you are seriously overestimating my indifference to a belief in God.

I would not be so arrogant as to assume that my local priest needs my input into his ministry - I leave that sort of pompous high-handed busy-bodying to Christians.

No. Interesting notion, but no, you are wrong about me - again.
