God Is Or Is Not.

If God IS, then all of our big questions about origins, are answered.
If God IS NOT, then the alternative is purely materialistic.
What do you say?
Obviously there are atheists who believe the latter. So please guide me to the evidence for a purely materialistic origin, beginning of life, and evolution.
Please feel free to guide me towards any YouTube videos where atheistic experts can convince me that a purely materialistic scenario is the only option.
I am eager to understand the atheist mindset.

Theland. Why not imagine, just for a moment, that god doesn't exist. Could you live with that? Or are you too afraid to even think such a thought? We're all scared of death, but some of us have the courage to face up to logical possibilities. I think that you are so afraid of death that you are prepared to believe anything that reassures you; just like your parents did when you were a little frightened kid. I think you need to grow up. You disregard and dismiss intellects which are far superior to your own, without saying why; you simply assert that Richard Dawkins is stupid and misled, and that Stephen Hawking is wrong. I think that you are wrong and that they are right in saying that there is no evidence to support the beliefs of the various religions in the world. They are trying to find truth via the evidence that the word offers us; you are trying to deny any evidence other than your own precious bible, most of which has nothing to do with Jesus Christ, after whom Christianity was named. Be a man.

I have made a great effort to understand how atheists content themselves with the answers to the big questions provided by science.
So far I have not found any of these answers convincing.
But I continue to look.
How is that for you?

Hawking - brilliant cosmologist and mathematician. But are we therefore to be suitably impressed because of that when he stepped into the field of philosophy?
Dawkins - also brilliant in his field but also stepping outside of his field of expertise.

Yes I can always provide time consuming chapter and verse and other referencing, but my time is valuable, like yours, and I learned years ago not to be dictated to by others.
