An hour long video, but even atheists might feel it interesting and entertaining, and Km sure fellow Christians certainly will.
Just watching the news confirms it all for me.

Naomi @ 18:02 - "Nothing puzzles me."
That is quite a claim.
Regarding prophecy, there is plenty that puzzles me, but I continue to learn as events unfold.
Theland, oh dear. Okay. If I must. Nothing about biblical prophecy puzzles me. It's nonsense, and as such, very easily debunked .... but then you know that.
Question Author
We have to disagree.
I have never heard anybody debunk the history of the Jews and Bible prophecy comparison.
But is you have, an author maybe, I would like to look it up.
I never listen to or read these end time, and second coming, "prophesies". But I do remember wayyy back some one pointing out that the time would be upon us when the false prophet had risen and was on the cusp of ruining the World. The subsequent "revelations" are then supposed to herald destruction and suffering on a scale unheard of, and unimaginably violent during, the desperate struggle to rid the World of this false prophet. No idea who or what they mean by this false prophet and I try not to guess......Do You?
Question Author
Togo - Cheers.
I suspect a prominent politician from the EU.
Some people say an Israeli, but as events unfold, more is revealed.
//I suspect a prominent politician from the EU//

Really? I went further back than that. Much further. Some time in the 7th century even.
//I have never heard anybody debunk the history of the Jews and Bible prophecy comparison//
Because there's nothing to debunk!
Modern Israel bears no resemblance to Biblical Prophecy.
As an Evangelical Christian this was one topic which I really believed proved the Bible to be 'supernatural'.
After a lot of study (and coming to my senses) these prophecies partly became the reason why I started to reject the Bible as some kind of divine revelation.
Proponents of the idea that Israel fulfils a divine prophecy are very choosey about Bible verses. They will take the ones that seemingly match while ignoring a plethora of others that don't.

Question Author
Nailit - Have you actually watched the video?
Theland,
In my youth I read scores of books on end time prophecy.
In my 20's...as a born again bible believer... I read scores of books on end time prophecy.
In my 30's I began to doubt the Bible but still read books about end time prophecy.
In my 40's I began to question these so called end time prophecies.
Now in my 50's I see these prophecies as been bogus and cant really see myself wasting time on this crud anymore than wasting time on Nostradamus.
If it makes you happy, I will watch the vid in full but only if you will give me a full reply to any questions that you may ask?
Theland, //I have never heard anybody debunk the history of the Jews and Bible prophecy comparison. //

Yes you have.
Nailit, if you want answers from Theland you may as well go whistle.
Question Author
Nailit, Yes of course I shall promise to try my best to answer any question from you.

Naomi, you have not insulted me, or mocked me directly, but if you look back over your posts, I think you will agree that the general tone of your comments is anything but friendly.
I think I understand.
For your entertainment, and, "pop corn," moments, you always adapt the position of devils advocate, and automatically disagree with anything I say, without ever providing any evidence for your apparent reasoning.
I know that I am not alone in my observation that you consider yourself somewhat superior in these matters, and of generally superior intellect.
I don't dispute this, it may well be the case, but when pressed on any of the big questions, your response is always, "I don't know, and neither do you," neither do you ever provide supporting evidence for the views that you do actually present.
That is fine, and I'm sure you find it all very entertaining, but please, if you have nothing of any substance to say, why fall back to your well known default position of negative comment and dismissal, which is I suspect, just another ego boost for you at my expense.
What does indeed puzzle me is why you even bother with R&S at all, as you do not appear to be searching for anything other than self promotion at other's expense.
What would be interesting, I think, would be some posts, or a new thread, where you actually provide supporting evidence for your views, either from your own experience or from a third party.
I hope any conversations you engage in will be conducted in a spirit of friendliness.
It's good, and it's free.
One of the biggest threats to peace on Earth are those who eagerly relish imminent "End Times" with the expectation of Armageddon where the devotees of their particular flavour of miserable Abrahamic religion will inherit the planet, everyone else having been slaughtered by their brutal deity and His minions.

Many of them actively work toward bringing on their precious end times and gleefully anticipate being able to participate in murdering their neighbours.
Theland, An attempted character assassination is never conducted in a spirit of friendliness. I trust, however, that you found your inadvertent confession therapeutic.
Question Author
Beso - I have heard that comment before, but never found any evidence for it. Do you have any I could look at please?
Question Author
Naomi, I am not attempting to assassinate your character, in fact, I would enjoy conversations with you.
Telling Nailit he would have to go and whistle, is a character assassination, yes?
And what, "inadvertent confession," are you referring to?
Perhaps you need to ponder a bit more.
Question Author
That's it. I have ponderated and ponderised and I am totally depleted of ponders.
Some assistance would be appreciated.
Theland, it may be helpful to a reasoned debate if you would provide your own take on why you believe that modern Israel is a fulfilment of biblical prophecy. On what evidence do you base this? What Biblical verses are you using to justify this assertion? Are you up for a debate about all the other verses that contradict your assertion etc?

Im really not interested anymore in viewing sensationalist you tube vids, more interested in listening to your own views.
(Started watching that link with bombs going off etc and immediately saw that it was an advert for fundies. It could well have equally been an advert for Islam, Scientology, Nostradamus followers or any number of other cult followers).

I really would be interested in a dialogue with YOU (as opposed to you tube)

If you could provide specific bible verses of your own that would be a start.
(rather than linking to 'out of context' you tubers and other end of the worlders)
