Atheist Confusion?

Like fox hunting, it is an acceptable blood sport :-)

So, Richard Dawkins has stated that the universe is simply blind indifference, (paraphrased), that we simply dance to the demands of our DNA.

Yet he has said that science has put men on the moon, yet evil religion flies planes into towers.

Do you see the inconsistency?

This raises questions about morality, and maybe, just maybe, we could discuss it without spilling too much blood, burning too many martyrs, or sending hate mail?
(But just in case I shall be wearing full body armour and a crash helmet :-)

if you conclude that, then you should read him again - he doesnt say that

the universe ( after the first billionth of asecond) has a relatively ( ha yes general relativity!) straightforward set of equations. ( Bar 90% of the universe is dark matter and little things like that)

and Darwins theory of evolution is certainly NOT blind indifference. I wd seriously suggest that someone shd fail Biology O level if they came out with that. (in fact at O and A level you cant fail even with only one very very bad mistake - there has to be kinda constant hail of them)

From my limited knowledge of such matters, I would guess that the only significance of Jesus riding rather than walking, was that he told his disciples to go and get Him a ride.
