Is Wokeism The New Religion?
91 Answers
There are many terms and dogmas associated with, '' Wokeism,'' and I don't profess to completely understand them all.
Some of them are :-
Diversity, Integration, Equality, (D.I.E.)
Virtue Signalling.
Gaslignting.
Subconscious racism.
White privilege.
Victimhood.
Phobias of all colours and hues.
Intersectionality.
Mysogyny.
Homophobia.
Transphobia.
My simplistic understanding of all of the above, which is not exhaustive, is that the major problem, is the white, ''privileged,'' (whatever that means), male.
So, without me supplying more information, what do you think?
Has, ''Wokeism,'' become the new religion?

In fact, do you even know what gaslighting is, or are you just copying words you found on t'internet?
Your view on homosexuality is that it is a sin, and on transexuality, is that there is basically no such thing, medically speaking and anyone practicing it is a freak.
Making you doubt your views isn't gaslighting, it's just discussion and argument. Gaslighting is using lies, denial or misdirection to make someone doubt their own perception or memories of an event, to make them think they are crazy. Gaslighting is a nasty manipulation of someone, to make them doubt their own sanity, make them think they are to blame for something they are not, or to question their worth.
If the woke are doing that to you, then you have a serious problem Theland.

I don’t think ‘Woke’ is the new religion, but I do think there’s a swiftly-growing tendency to try to shame everyone into thinking the only way is ‘Woke’. Witness Theland getting it in the neck for daring to question the trend towards ‘Woke’. Before jumping on fashionable bandwagons it would be wise to consider the sort of world the ‘Woke’ are creating…. certainly not one I welcome.
From the internet: //Gaslighting is a term that refers to trying to convince someone they’re wrong about something even when they aren’t.//
I’ve encountered on these very pages ‘woke’-minded people who, when challenged by the not-so-woke become ‘gaslighters’. Funny how that’s okay.

Nobody has said that it would be okay, but I have to admit I've never seen it. There's a big difference between arguing an opinion you believe in, and knowingly gaslighting.

//And the woke interpretation of slavery, ignoring our role in defeating it, and colonialism, is not an attempt to rewrite history and make us doubt our own views?//
Does it make you doubt your own experiences and known truths, or does it make you think "oh shut up, you're full of crap"?
If it's the second, you're in a discussion, or at worse, an argument. That ain't gaslighting.
