Religionists. What Have You Got To Offer Me?
177 Answers
Seriously, what you got to offer me?
Or is it a case of what I can avoid!
I'm deadly (excuse the pun) serious. But what can your belief system/religion/spiritual tradition/ offer me except a free pass out of hell?
An eternity of Hallelujah's?
For Eternity????

I'm no "religionist" but my Christian faith sustains me through bad and good times, and gives deep soul peace (not only for eternity) for this life; full and free forgiveness for the past, grace for the present and hope for the future. It's a gift offered to all, indiscriminately, not based on any merit on our part, but simple repentance towards God, and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
No one is going to force it down your neck, that's not God's way- but salvation is open to "whosoever will." The universal call of “whosoever will” is the most amazing aspect of the gospel of salvation. This “whosoever will” includes you and me. It includes everyone and anyone. John 3:16. Mjwman - the bible tells us that all have sinned in thought, word or deed.
Nobody is guiltless, not one.
Therefore we are guilty before God of sin.
A big problem.
Nobody can take the punishment for sin for you, because they have their own price to pay.
Only somebody completely without sin can take the punishment for you, for me, for everybody.
Jesus did this for us.
Now we are offered the free gift of forgiveness.
All we have to do is repent of our sin and accept the fee gift.
