There is no god, an imaginary entity created out of ignorance.

There are some users who believe every word in the bible, a silly book with no credibility.

Have to go, some unicorns have landed in my garden in search of food.

Theland, I have no intention of being diverted down your 'information originates in a mind' track - another of your pet projects. I have nothing to prove, I have made no claims - yes, an alien concept for you despite the number of times it's been pointed out to you.
Carly Simon has the answers. First the roundabout effect “Coming around again”

So stop fretting and take a few minutes out to listen to a wonderful singer.
Something went wrong there, half my post is missing. Here is the first song (hope it works this time).

The other song which did come out I dedicated to Theland
SparklyKid. If you want to start a debate on here at least bring something of some substance to the table.

There is no god, an imaginary entity created out of ignorance.

Kicking off a thread with a line like that doesn't inspire me, and frankly I can't be bothered with it

treads the endless roundabout.

Thought that you were tired of it and yet inviting more of the same?

No question mark there. Thats interesting...

But you just did...????

fiveleaves, I'm not sure there can be a debate on the possible existence of god. There would first need to be a definition of 'god', and then in my view there would need to be some kind of 'evidence' produced on both sides.
Unfortunately, I don't think there is a universally accepted definition of god or an accepted description of his (!!??!!) qualities. Nor have I ever seen any evidence of god's existence apart from human assertions.
Is it not a big coincidence that god's nature seems to fit exactly with what we wish it to be (either violent and vengeful for those who are themselves v&v; or kind and forgiving for those who are themselves k&f)?

No!

Coincidence doesn't come into it.
Do not feed them or you will not get rid of them.
