Since Naomi will not give me the ****ing key I have decided to follow Jesus and be a Christian just like Theland. I am ashamed of my past history here so I'm going to devote the time I used to spend on ab to reading the Bible. No question really because I no longer care about what people think. I'll get all my answers from God from now on thank you.

I'm desperate for a job, but still no word from Tesco etc,
but the local shipyard rang me up and want me to start on Monday morning.
Good money, �10.45 / hour plus overtime.
I didn't want to go back into engineering, especially heavy engineering, I just don't feel up to it, but beggars can't be choosers, so it looks like I'll be there bright and early on Monday.
Yes, it will pull me out of my financial problems, and yes, get me off these benefits which are so embarrassing, but I wanted to earn my living in a different way.

It's a question of doing what you have to before doing what you want to Theland. You can do the engineering stuff until something better comes along. (That's if you're dead set on turning up Monday). I think it sounds like good news anyway, it's a step forwards if nothing else.
Naomi - I put some books up for you. They're not all religion based but I've gone for a theme of things not being what they seem/philosophy type books so that they're fun and yet have a few layers for your perusal. (Except for the Brookmyre one which I already said, is just very funny!)

It's clear that no one's been around for quite a while, so I presume, Mibs, that you either have them under the microscope for more intensive study, or they've been put into pickling jars and placed on a shelf in a cupboard in the lab. Well, all I can say is be it on your own head if they come out all shrivelled and wrinkly! What sort of specimens are you going to have then, eh?

Theland .......... Derrr .......... this is what I've been trying to say. We are under a microscope - the subjects of a study on human interaction. I wonder what his findings are up to yet? The mind boggles! Cor, I'll bet there are lightening bolts flying everywhere in Mibs' lab.

Yep, House has Hugh Laurie in it. It's completely unbeliveable from a medical stand point but the humour is ace and the emotional manipulation of the audience is second to none!
I agree about the adverts though, I have to flick to music or something, I absolutely hate adverts. (Unless it's for a make up product in whichcase I just start wondering if I need it).

I watch House. It was on one of the ordinary channels up until last week when the series ended. I like House - what a complex character - and yet so transparent! I haven't got Sky. My husband doesn't like TV much and refuses point blank to have it. (Sniff ...... see how badly I'm treated? Slopes off miserably).
I don't have Sky either Naomi! Diabolical.... but we do have on of those digital/virgin package deals with the computer/phone/mobile so thankfully I'm still able to watch my beloved House (and Wison and the blonde dude and the black dude... Actually even Cuddy's pretty hot and I like her clothes). It's on channel five during the day too... Actually there's a little patch that has ER, then Without a Trace and then House on which almost made me consider whether it was worth getting a job or not!
