Since Naomi will not give me the ****ing key I have decided to follow Jesus and be a Christian just like Theland. I am ashamed of my past history here so I'm going to devote the time I used to spend on ab to reading the Bible. No question really because I no longer care about what people think. I'll get all my answers from God from now on thank you.

Theland, Ah, moi! The invisible woman! Now that's enigmatic. I like Mibs, China and Luna - spot on I'd say.
I'm off to Business & Finance now to see what you've been up to - and then to bed ....... see you (read you) in the morning.
Night everyone. Sweet dreams. x

Just a quickie Theland. I've had a word, and although it's not his area, he said have a look at
www.endowmentsurrenderplus
or any of the other regulated selling sites.
Currently they seem to be trading Norwich Union with profits endowments at around 17% above surrender value. However, I suspect the closer the policy is to maturity, the less the margin becomes. (You'll be able to find out the basic surrender value by approaching Norwich Union).
Have a look at
thisismoney.co.uk
It has a whole section about selling them on.
He said the only way you'll be able to get a true valuation is to approach one of the companies that buy them, and ask them how much they'll give you.

Mibs honey, the time it must take you to put those stars on would be better suited to just poking your head in and saying 'hello'... In my humble opinion anyway.
Besides, I don't like your rating system, you give me three stars whether I write tripe or something sensible so your system becomes meaningless as you can't possibly value my contribution. Unless you think it doesn't matter what I say as long as I say something; which either makes you a hypocrite since you yourself say nothing or insultiing as it doesn't matter whether it's tripe or sensible as it's all just the same mundane crap to you anyway.
Puts down the spoon as it looks like the brown stuff has been sufficiently stirred

Naomi, I've browsed the sites you gave me and some good info there.
Norwich Union may be giving a windfall payout, so it would be as well to hang on for now.
I'll dig out the policy and ring the help line.
Homebase wrote to me - no vacancies but keeping my name on file.
No further news from Tesco I'm afraid.

Regarding Mibs' occupation, I already inferred that he could be a technical author for the Department Of Work And Pensions, and it got me thinking of other possibilities.
Please add your own ideas, here are mine.
Instruction author for self build flat pack furniture units.
Lawyer.
College lecturer.
Senior civil servant, as in, "Yes Minister."
Stand up comic.
A millionaire who can afford to spend all day thinking about the nature of reality.
C'mon Mibs, give us a clue ......................................

Ah... And there's me thinking late thirties!
Theland, I don't think I look like anyone particularly, certainly no one I can think of. I did consider sticking a link to the thingy I was using so you could see a little picture but I've decided it'd be way too scary for me so I'm going back under my rock.
