Going by the general rules of the aforementioned denominations, is it the case that one is correct over the other? Around Ireland and the the UK these two faiths are more than likely the most common. I'm from Ireland where Catholicism is the most dominant religion but there are a few Protestant religions like Methodist and Church of Ireland also. Is it the case that Catholics should believe that these Protestants will not go to Heaven and Protestants think that Catholics will not get to Heaven? Or is it the case that all Christians get to Heaven regardless of the Catholic/Protsestant thing?

only good boys and girls..whatever faith they keep...get to heaven !!!
No heaven, no hell!! Make the most of this life, its your only one.
The Rev Peon Aisley believed that we 'Fenians' were bound for hell fire. If we lead as good a life as we can, do no harm to people, then who knows?
Were heaven to exist all would be welcome
You live your own hell here on earth.
'Hell is other people', said Sartre. Who's to say he was wrong?
Daisy, it appears that as an Atheist im going to burn in hell for eternity, Im terrified!!
:-)
you wont ratter..................im praying for you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol lol
Not necessarily, Ratter15. I think it's how you behave in this life that counts for where you're going in the next one.
Ratter, I said ALL. Not sure what I believe.

i must disagree with you birdie, i know many people who are catholic and prodestants and to suggest that they believe any person who does not share their faith will go to hell is ridiculous. IMO.

I am a Catholic girl born and bred, have mixed with people of all faiths and although not a scholar in any of them am interested in both their differences and similarities. I see no reason why anyone who lived a good life and was inherently kind to others should not enter the heaven their faith decrees, also have no issue with non believers, that is their choice too.
The important thing is that people believe that they will go to 'heaven', that is how religions control their believers/subjects/victims.
Anne, I dont want to go to Heaven, I cant play a harp and I want to be with people I know.
Belief does not alter facts and it seems that facts do not alter belief. So if you think you will go to heaven .. well, you won't so be nice to people anyway just because you can and not so as to get(selfishly) to heaven
Jomifl, I think its called hedging your bets, "I will believe in God so I can go to Heaven" I think this smart a$$ God may see through that lolol.
