Personally, I am loving the problems at the Theatre of Screams. Ferguson left a threadbare squad, midfield weak, defence slow (Ferdinand? Really?). Also, teams are now not intimidated in going there and will have a go at them. Also, they will lose 6 or 7 points a season minimum as refs will now be prepared to make decisions without fearing old red nose. Carry on Moyes!
Having only given MOTD a cursory glance at the weekend I did remark upon the fact that Rio Ferdinand looked about as much use as a handbrake on a canoe.
Furthermore, it does look as if Moyes decision to remove Fergie's backroom staff and install his own looks like he's removed a well oiled machine and replaced it with something that now runs on steam.
With Wolves currently in a promotion slot in Division 3 (as I still prefer to call it), I look forward to us playing the great mufcok in Division 2 next season - even if it is (probably) known by then as the "Tenalady Championship" ...
sunny-Dave....don't get too cocky, your team has to overcome my team Peterborough United, before you consider playing Man Utd in the old second division ;-)
Man Utd has been deteriorating for the past 4or 5 season ( Yes I know that they were champions last year, but that was due to inconsistency of teams in the prem)
Mid field is lightweight and "powder puff"....Jones.Cleverly, Smalling and Evans have been over hyped........average players at the moment.
Yes, cause for concern at Man Utd, but not a crisis.
I don't have time at the moment to read all these comments - all I will say is we are still the champions and, as we walked away with it last year - we need to give the other teams a little head start
hopefully it will be a nice close contest and some of the regulars giving way to a few others... I'd be amused if MU were playing on Thursdays for example even more so if Arsenal were with them
